Answer:	30:1 extract means that it takes 30 kilos of raw plant material to make 1 kilo of extract. The tablets have 80% flavinoids of silymarin, so each 150mg tablet contains 120 mg silymarin.

Answer:	This DOES contain magnesium stearate. There is a lot of misleading information regarding test tube trials and not human trials where it theoretically could be problematic. It is magnesium ion mixed with stearic acid which is the primary long chain saturated fat in meat, coconut oil, and many other common foods that are known to be good for you. It is the only saturated fat that does not raise cholesterol levels and is considered to be very healthy. The tiny amount in these supplements in general is so tiny and is actually extremely useful. It helps keep the level of active ingredients even throughout the manufacturing process. If you are looking for a "standardized" extract of something it most likely will have magnesium stearate as the alternatives are not as good. Some supplements are removing it to make the product seem safer but unless you never intend on eating healthy fats (including coconut oil), you are going to be getting thousands of times the amount of magnesium stearate as is in these tablets. Yarrow makes great products and very often tops the lists at independent labs. I trust them and I am crazy about whats in my food/supplements.
