Answer:	The bottle says non-gmo and vegan. I understand your concern to avoid carry along pesticides and biocides. The language of chemistry is very specific and sometimes commonly used terms non-gmo and organic don’t apply. Cane sugar can be grown with fertilizers and pesticides but it is a refined product and very little will find its way out with the sugar. The heat of refining will destroy the more complex organic compounds. D-Ribose is another refined sugar. D-ribose is a excellent way to restore your energy by feeding your cells mitrochondia. It is their preffered fuel. So they are well fed and reproduce. I recommend you buy the straight powder on Amazon.com. It is much less expensive. I worked up to 5 spoonfuls daily. Answer:	My current jar is good until Dec. 16. Since I take 10 g daily, I will be finished with it well before then. I have never noticed a change in texture or taste before I finished a jar.
