Answer:	It says rBST Free, there is no hormone, whether you call it somatotropin or growth hormone, it is not in this product.

Answer:	Despite an answer above, the answer is that only one part of the ingredients is non-GMO. If ALL of the ingredients were non-GMO, I suspect Jarrow would be making a huge deal of that, particularly on the front of the packaging in large print. However, on the container, the only mention of genetic modification issues is in the ingredient list: "Grass Fed Whey protein concentrate, non-GMO sunflower lecithin, natural vanilla flavor and organic rebiana (stevia extract)." It appears that ONLY the sunflowers from which the lecithin is derived are non-GMO - not the vanilla beans or anything else in that "natural flavor," and not the rebiana from which the stevia extract is derived. What kind of grass the grass fed cows eat is unknown. So everything points to the best answer being, "Mostly, no."
