2 best egg protein supplement
Egg protein supplements are dietary supplements made from egg whites, specifically the egg white protein known as albumin. These supplements are popular in the world of sports nutrition and health and are used to increase protein intake for various purposes. Here's what you need to know about egg protein supplements:
Source: Egg protein supplements are derived from egg whites, which are rich in high-quality protein. Egg whites are virtually fat-free and provide all the essential amino acids required by the human body.
Protein Content: Egg protein supplements are a concentrated source of protein. They typically contain a high percentage of protein by weight, often exceeding 90%, which makes them an efficient way to boost your protein intake.
Amino Acid Profile: Egg protein is considered a complete protein because it contains all the essential amino acids necessary for muscle growth and repair. It has an excellent amino acid profile, similar to that of whey protein.
Digestibility: Egg protein is highly digestible, and the body can absorb and utilize its amino acids efficiently. This makes it a suitable choice for athletes and fitness enthusiasts who need rapid post-workout protein replenishment.
Lactose-Free: Unlike some other protein sources like whey, egg protein is naturally lactose-free, making it an excellent option for individuals who are lactose intolerant or have dairy allergies.
Allergenicity: While egg protein is generally well-tolerated, individuals with egg allergies should avoid egg protein supplements.Egg allergies can cause severe reactions, so it's crucial to be cautious.
Powder Form: Egg protein supplements are typically available in powder form. You can mix the powder with water, milk, or a beverage of your choice to create a protein shake.
Flavors: Many egg protein supplements come in various flavors, such as chocolate, vanilla, or unflavored, allowing users to choose based on their taste preferences.
Use Cases: Egg protein supplements are commonly used by athletes and fitness enthusiasts to support muscle recovery, muscle growth, and overall protein intake. They can be consumed as a pre-workout, post-workout, or as a meal replacement.
Combination Products: Some protein supplements combine egg protein with other protein sources like whey or casein to provide a more diverse amino acid profile.
Regulations: Quality egg protein supplements are typically tested for purity and to ensure they meet label claims. Look for products from reputable manufacturers that adhere to quality control standards.
Nutritional Benefits: Egg protein supplements can contribute to satiety and weight management, as protein helps control hunger and can aid in reducing overall calorie intake.
Before incorporating any protein supplement into your diet, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare professional or a nutritionist, especially if you have specific dietary requirements or health concerns. Additionally, it's essential to follow the recommended serving sizes and not rely solely on supplements for your protein needs but rather incorporate them as part of a balanced diet.

About the Pro JYM protein powder
supported goals: muscle - growth - strength
what it is: the perfect blend of three of the most effective types of proteins for building muscle: whey, micellar casein, and Egg protein. The three types of protein are absorbed in the body at varying rates of speed – Whey extremely fast, Casein very slowly, and egg at a “medium” pace. This is exactly how you want your protein to act both before and after workouts to ensure that the muscles get an immediate supply of amino acids (The building blocks of protein) as well as a steady trickle of them in the hours following
research now suggests that when you add medium-digesting and slow-digesting proteins to fast-digesting whey, muscle protein synthesis remains elevated for longer than when using whey alone. And muscle protein retention is higher, as well. That means that more protein is being built in the muscle. That is what may help lead to long-term gains in Muscle growth and strength.
each serving of Pro JYM provides 24 grams protein:
7.5g Whey protein isolate> 7g micellar casein> 7g milk protein isolate> 2.5g egg white protein
what sets It apart: aside from being a protein blend in a crowded market of sometimes under per forming 100% whey protein powders, Pro Jim is also a non-proprietary blend. A proprietary blend is any supplement that doesn't list the precise amount of every single active ingredient it contains. This isn't just prevalent with pre-workouts and fat-burners – a lot of protein powders on the market are proprietary blends because they don't tell you the exact amounts of the proteins in the formula. Pro JYM, on the other hand, lists the exact amounts on the front of the container of all three types of proteins in their four distinct forms: whey protein isolate (7.5 grams), micellar casein (7 grams), egg albumen (2.5 grams) and milk protein isolate (7 grams – 5.5 grams casein, 1.5 grams whey).
nitrogen spiking (aka “amino spiking” or “protein spiking”) is an unscrupulous technique where some supplement companies put in less protein than what's listed on the label as a means of slashing costs and increasing their protein margins – At the user's expense. Getting a “spiked” protein means paying for, say, 24 grams of protein but getting only 18 grams of actual whole proteins. With Pro JYM, you get all 24 grams, guaranteed. Pro Jim is not and never will be spiked with cheap fillers.
- ISOLATE BLEND - Scientific studies have shown that a blend is considerably better for maximizing muscle-building than standard whey protein Alone, This blend contains whey protein isolate, micellar casein, milk protein isolate, and egg white protein.
- GREAT TASTE - No other protein powder surpasses the great taste, texture, and nutrition of Pro JYM. Simply mix with water, milk, almond milk or add other Ingredients For a delicious high protein shake or smoothie. It also comes in chocolate.
- PERFECT RATIO - Pro JYM contains the ideal ratio of the three optimum proteins for building muscle: 50% casein, 40% whey and 10% egg protein. For both men & women, This blend supports your natural strength, energy, endurance & recovery.
- NO SPIKING - Pro JYM does not include cheap amino acids that can lead to protein Spiking. Each serving contains 24 grams of whole proteins, it is optimal for lean muscle growth, as a higher percentage of calories are derived from the protein.
- VERSATILE USE - The Pro Powder is the best before & after workouts, in the morning, between meals and at night. The blend of fast, medium and Slow digesting proteins elevates muscle protein synthesis for longer and supports rebuild.
User questions & answers
Question: | Does this contain the artificial sweetener acesulfame potassium? Or aspartame |
Answer: | If your asking, from this poorly put together sentence, if that anyone knows if this product is really from grass fed cows then nobody is going to know for certain it's just a matter of trusting the manufacturer and their reputation, if they've been around long enough to have one. I can't really tell from the taste but I can say it doesn"t mix that easily. |
Question: | How do i know i'm getting the 2.0 & not an older version from amazon? does it specify 2.0 on the label |
Answer: | Are you using this product more than once a day? I ask because your body cannot utilize more than around 22-25 grams of protein per serving, so if you're consuming 50 grams per serving you may want to cut back. Do you mix it with water, milk, juice? Wondering how it tastes. |
Question: | What is the amount of lactose in this product |
Answer: | It doesn't say "organic", but I'm not sure what the reasoning behind that is. Perhaps it's related to where the milk was sourced ("small dairy farms in CA"). It might be more difficult to prove that these small dairy farms all used organic feed. But it does claim pasture/grass fed (among other things such as free of growth hormones and GMOs). |
Question: | Why is there a warning for this product in CA |
Answer: | That could be a tricky question. Are you asking about the Naked brand or any unflavored variety of any brand? I switched from Naked brand to Promix but it was because I liked their chocolate flavor much better than Naked's chocolate. I never had any trouble mixing either Naked brand or Promix. Both are excellent unless you prefer flavors and I think Promix chocolate, vanilla are quite a bit better taste wise. Naked's taste in chocolate is very light. Their vanilla is too sweet tasting. I still would recommend either brand to anyone. |
