I am not sure where the person that found the comment about the bones being U.S. sourced and free range in October 2016 but I agree with Mike - if these chickens were grass fed it would be all over the place. The container itself says "non-gmo" and "grain free" but that is just talking about the powder ingredients (i.e. they did not add gmo products or grains to the powder after processing) not that the animals were fed non-gmo grains or are grain free.

Answer:	My daughter is a holistic nutritionist and this is the only collagen that she recommends. It is the only collagen she can find that is grass fed and grass finished. I’m not sure where the bones come from but the package says processed in Boulder Colorado.
