Answer:	This is what I know: 1/4 cup=20g of protein and so you have a 40 servings. It is best to use it in 12 oz of water/smoothie. Otherwise figure your oz ttl in your bag and divided by 40 servings and again you will come out to 20g serving. You can also start with half of 1/4 for few days and add the rest. That is best I can do for you.

Answer:	I wonder what "UEP" is. ... Oh, United Egg Producers. "United Egg Producers. UEP farmers must have 100% of their flocks to the guidelines. So, yes it does mean the egg would be certified. Answer:	Because they don’t intentionally put animal products in them. So many vegan companies are small so they have no choice but to share equipment with other brands or products that may use milk and/or eggs. It costs a lot to have their own space that only they can use unfortunately. Most vegans are ok with this and we understand. Now the only issue is if you have allergies. That’s why they let us know about shared equipment. People with allergies have to be very careful.

Answer:	yes
Question:	How can it be a vegan product if it may be processed in a plant that deals with dairy,eggs,etc as stated on your label
Answer:	Are you asking if dry ice can be recycled? If there was dry ice in your package, it would have disappeared shortly after you opened the box. Dry ice comes in blocks or chunks that are milky white, and it evaporates quickly at room temperature. Usually the box will be labeled very clearly that it contains dry ice since it’s a burn hazard. Dry ice will bubble and “smoke” when dropped into water, and it will not leave a puddle of water like regular ice will. If your package came with small frozen bags, those are usually made with some sort of frozen gel or liquid that is nontoxic and usually reusable. If you are curious if the ice packs that were in the box are reusable and how to dispose of them, look on the outside of the ice pack itself; they will usually be labeled with disposal instructions, if they are reusable and sometimes a brand name. Most can be thrown in the freezer to be used again.

Answer:	Well... generally on any endurance activity you want to keep things ‘light’ in your stomach. These bars are really more of a small ‘meal’ at 300 calories, 20g protein, some fiber, some carbs,etc. I tend to eat one right after a good weight-lifting session. For your distance runs, i’d go with something more ‘snacksize’ at 100 or 120 calories and skewed to high carbs (instant energy) and low in fiber (!) and also protein as both of those are likely to slow you down a bit.

Answer:	Hi...I found no chunks of peanuts; however, there are small chunks of chocolate. It's not really crunchy and I love the flavor because not too many protein bars taste that great. I believe the "peanut" in the bar is more of a peanut butter type of consistency. But I have never noticed actual nuts in the bar. I hope that helps. Answer:	Reading the box...I'm guessing a baked mix about the same way you would make cookies. The cleanest mix of ingredients I have found--driven to seek these out by a dermatitis condition highly reactive to ANY fake fat, gluten, etc. These things work.

Answer:	I am not diabetic, I was trying these as a low carb way to stave off hunger. They did seem to keep me from having sugar spikes and lows, and also seemed to help control hunger. But they were too fattening for weight loss purposes and I stopped eating them. They wrapper says 1 net carb, bit under nutritional info, it says over 20. Even factoring out fiber, its too high for a dieter.

Question:	How are these Paleo if they contain pea protein and brown rice flour? Legumes and grains are not paleo
Answer:	Hi there, we use the vernacular "Paleo Friendly" rather than "Paleo" for this reason. While most grains and legumes are excluded from the Paleo diet, legumes from edible pods like peas and white rice (we do not use brown rice) are generally considered Paleo Friendly given they're vastly lower in phytates, lectins, and other concerning compounds that most grains and legumes are high in. Furthermore, our newest bars (releasing in March) will no longer have rice flour in them! With all of this said, we definitely do not claim to be 100% Paleo - we just aim to be ingredient-friendly to those following the Paleo diet.
Question:	The label shows 17g carbs and 9g fiber. This calculates to 8 net carbs, twice as many as advertised. Can you explain
Answer:	The specific net carb calculation (which you'll find on our bars and box) is Total Carbs (17g) - Fiber (9g) - Allulose (4g) = 4 Net Carbs.
Question:	are these closer to a Lara bar? or closer to a Probar or cliff bar
Answer:	I would say they are closer to a Lara bar in terms of flavor and consistency. Lara bars have a better flavor in my opinion. These tasted like dates without the other flavors Lara bars contain. Cliff bars are way harder than these. These are pretty soft.
Question:	How are the Net Carbs around 4g? I am seeing 8 and 9...definitely not
Answer:	Fiber is a carbohydrate, however it can't be broken down by our non-cow stomachs, therefore it's not digested. Thus, you have to deduct those from the total carb count to get a net carb. This goes for any food, not just these bars. Regarding the sweetener commented on by others: Allulose is also known as D-psicose. It is classified as a "rare sugar" because it is naturally present in only a few foods. Wheat, figs and raisins all contain it. Like glucose and fructose, allulose is a monosaccharide, or single sugar. In contrast, table sugar, also known as sucrose, is a disaccharide made of glucose and fructose joined together. In fact, allulose has the same chemical formula as fructose, but is arranged differently. This difference in structure prevents your body from processing allulose the way it processes fructose. Although 70–84% of the allulose you consume is absorbed into your blood from your digestive tract, it is eliminated in the urine without being used as fuel. Allulose also provides only 0.2–0.4 calories per gram, or about 1/10 the calories of table sugar. It is NOT a sugar alcohol. Although small amounts of this rare sugar are found in some foods, in recent years, manufacturers have used enzymes to convert fructose from corn and other plants into allulose, so while they may use some creative organic chemistry, this is a natural sugar that just doesn't get digested as calories or raise your blood sugar. The taste and texture have been described as identical to table sugar. It is about 70% as sweet as sugar, which is similar to the sweetness of erythritol, another popular sweetener. It not only does not raise blood sugar, some studies indicate it may actually improve insulin resistance (i.e., it's good for diabetics).
