Raw extracts were analysed for contents of major catechins (EC, EGC, ECG, EGCG), caffeine, proanthocyanidins and flavonols (myricetin, caempherol, quercetin). Starting material was found to contain 191 g major catechins/kg material, 36 g caffeine/kg material and 5.2 g flavonols/kg material on a dry mass basis. The content of major catechins in green tea extracts varied from approximately 280–580 g/kg dry extract, with extraction efficiencies of major catechins varying from 61% to almost 100%. Content of caffeine in extract was in the range of 75 g/kg, where its extraction efficiency varied from 62% to 76%. Average extraction yield was 30% with exceptions when using pure acetone and acetonitrile, where extraction yield was about 3%. Contents of flavonols and proanthocyanidins were in the ranges 6–20 and 12–19 g/kg, respectively. Answer:	Hi everyone,This is Jeff from Integrated Sports Nutrition. We formulated and produce Red Leaf Pre-Workout Energizer. The supplement facts panels for dietary supplements are a little different than for regular food products. Sorry for any confusion. There is 0 grams sugar and 0 carbs. To be super precise, there is a trace amount of carbs from the natural lime flavoring, but it rounds down to 0 (per FDA labeling guidelines). The sweetness comes from the combo of natural flavoring and the sweetener - which is sucralose. Sucralose is the same thing as Splenda (the yellow packets you see at Starbucks). But we use very little of that, less than the equivalent of 1/5 a pack of Splenda. It's the combo of these various ingredients that makes the product taste sweet - even though it has 0 sugar. It was a painstaking flavoring process that took over 1 year to get right. It's because anything with any green tea or caffeine in it is nasty. So covering that up without using a ton of flavoring and sweetener is a bear. But we did it, using a very minimal amount of flavoring and sucralose. Hope you like it. Question:	Is this good for women? I know there are different ones for men and women
Answer:	This product does not fit exclusively into the pre-workout category. Because there are many consumers who don't want huge doses of caffeine, a 2-scoop serving of Amino Energy provides 100 mg of caffeine from natural sources. This product is also more versatile than a typical pre-workout, and allows you to add more scoops to a larger volume of water to increase the level of caffeine and amino acid support.

Answer:	I really enjoy the "orange cooler" flavor. It has a rather smooth taste after it completely dissolves (which does take a bit of stirring to accomplish).

Answer:	I like Blue Raspberry but the only other flavor I've tried is the Iced Mocha, which also tastes very good, but I first tried it with coconut milk and I added collagen protein powder and I drank this 3 times that day and felt ill that evening, not sure why, but I've found that the iced mocha tastes just as good with water than it does in milk. And the water seems to go easier with my digestion and it doesn't make me feel ill. I don't put but a scoop of either of these in my water at a time though, but I'm 60 yrs young so I try not to over do energy drinks, but I sure do like them! Also, this type doesn't make my muscles sting like some energy pre-workout powders do, so I really like that a lot.

Answer:	Shred has 260mg of caffeine per serving. A normal cup of coffee has about 95-100mg of caffeine.
