Answer:	I have model 3000 which is 9V battery operated. There are 2 channels. Each channel requires 2 electrodes. Four electrodes total for the device. There is a pack included if you are purchasing new. Spare pad sets are available from Amazon.

Answer:	Yes it is dual channel. Both sides work indepently. You can set them for each pair of leads.

Answer:	The battery usually lasts about 1 1/2 days. Purchase good batteries like Duracell.

Answer:	It should be. Just be careful not to fall asleep w the heating pad on so you don't burn yourself. Do 15-20 mins of heat, off for 20, on for 20. Do that a few times throughout the day to loosen up the muscles or injury. If the injury is less than 72 hours old, use ice instead. 10-15 mins on, 20 off, repeat a few times. (Ice 0-72 hours after injury. Heat 72 hours and beyond) Hope his helps!

Answer:	I have used it on my bruises but not on red lines on my face. It does help the bruises heal faster. I’d think it would be worth a try.

Question:	Can anyone confirm if this works with the tens
Answer:	There is no need to use an electrode gel on Syrtenty Electrode Pads. They are self-adhering and pre-gelled.
Question:	Has these caused rashes to anyone else
Answer:	I've owned a professional grade Empi TENS machine since 2005. It came with one package of four 2 x 2 and one package of four 2 x 4 and I'm only replacing them now and this is because the way I was sitting the wire pulled the electrode wire out, I've lost ALL my electroes this way. I don't use it all the time but I will use it daily, sometimes more for several weeks when I have an injury. I find if you carefully remove the pad after use, make sure it's clear of all debri, then rub some clean water over the gel pad, place it back on the strip and put in the zip lock bag and they seem to last indefinitely, or at least 13 years which is how long I've had these pads that still work fine! If you don't clean them and store them immediately then they won't last long at all. DISCLAIMER: I own the Empi electrodes that came with the TENS unit, and I've never bought another brand, so the shelf life may be less. I'm ordering some today so I guess I'll find out!

Answer:	I have four Tens units (and bad back pain, hence multiple units) so I have one in the car, one at work, and two at home so I can usually find one when I need it). Of all of them, I've only had one set of wires get kinky to where they were sending the 'relief' in spurts. Even shut the car door on one set recently, and they work fine! Not sure if that answers your question exactly, but I have no complaints with the wires.
