Answer:	I just received mine, in my opinion, it is not suitable for counted cross stitch. If you hold your work at the usual distance, it is too blurry. You have to hold your work about 11/2" to 2 " from your nose. I am past 60 and use reading glasses. I do think even with average eye site you'd have to hold the work that close of a distance. It would be great for getting a close up look at jewelry, model kits etc. I guess I'll have to spring for one of those lighted magnifiers on an arm.

Answer:	Yes, this can be done just by removing the screw on the left side and replace in the right one, then just position the loupe on the left side, I did the same thing since my best eye is the left.

By the time I had twisted around in all directions (I'm 73) trying to see and hold my feet close enough and keeping them still, I had wiggled around until I fell off the couch and landed on the floor. Hilarious seeing this old lady trying to get up like a turtle on it's back! The only pedicuring I got was an unintended snip on my little toe. Not my toenail, but the flesh. Will not try that again. But it works really well for crocheting, tatting, knitting, reading when my eyes are hurting, plus many, many more things. I repaired an earring the other day with them. I agree with what DSE said. You need to be a contortionist!

Answer:	If using the fixed lens alone, the magnification is 2x power. When the fixed 2x power lens is combined with the flip down lens, the combined magnification is 3x power. Answer:	Replacement lenses for this product come as either glass or acrylic plastic. This particular visor comes with a glass lens. If you need to replace the lens or would like to try a different power, then check carefully what you are buying because the many choices make it a little confusing. The plastic lenses will be cheaper in price, but both are listed as high quality lenses.
Question:	its show the magnifer over the right eye. can it be used over the left eye
Answer:	I'd bet your problem is the washer just under the knurled knob has a square hole in it. It must fit over the square part of the shank that the knurled knob screws onto. It is a tight fit and requires some fiddling to get it to line up. Maybe ask a friend to hold tension down on the washer assembly while you line up the square base of the shank into the square hole in the final washer and screw the knurled knob onto the threaded end of the shank. There is a protruding knob on the back of the strap, to fit the headband, that sticks out about 1/4" (Not very visible from the photo) and two knobs on the sides to adjust the position of lenses. It may be OK if you need to wear it for a short while.

Answer:	The battery is absolutely replaceable. Held in by a plug and a couple of screws! Takes about 2 minutes to pull off the bottom screws and cover to access everything inside. Please note that there are 6 screws located under the long rubber strips on the bottom. Just peel them back slowly and they will stick back on with no issues at all.

The magnification is truly 5x for large lens and 10x for smaller lens and it was the best magnifiers that I bought for coin collecting and I have tried the cheaper ones and they are worthless. Replacement of Batteries

• Adjust LED battery compartment to downward angle, then pull out batter compartment.
• Push battery compartment to take out old batteries, and put three AA batteries inside according to "+" ,"-" on bottom of battery compartment, close battery compartment.
• Aim the connector on both sides of battery compartment at the slot right above helmet to push battery compartment backwards.

The correct way to wear

• First pull out the adjustment knob of the headband magnifier, turn it counterclockwise to increase the length of the helmet, then place the headset on your head to adjust.
• Then wear the headband and visor at a certain angle, so that it is not easy to slide down due to the hair, and the head-mounted magnifying glass will be very stable.
• Finally, turn the knob clockwise to reduce the length of the helmet and adjust it to the level you think is most comfortable, press the knob to fix the size, and at the same time, tighten the knobs on both sides of the helmet.
