The 4.0 is perfect for me, but 6.0 is too strong and everything is blurry. Go to a drug store and try on the OTC readers, putting one pair on top of another and see what works best for you.

Answer:	Dear Customer, it is 30x magnifying glass. When you use the magnifying, the distance between magnifying glass and books or others will affect the real magnifying looking.

Answer:	The product box shows "made in China." The product light is good, high intensity. But the product is heavier than similar devices.

Answer:	The product descriptions on says "Materials: ABS+Double Glass Lens." ABS is a thermoplastic polymer molded into the frame and handle, not the lens! I simply DO NOT understand why a couple of people replied with "acrylic lens" and "plastic."

Answer:	From Wikipedia, you can find the following formula for magnification power: [MA] = (25cm)/(f) + 1 Solving for f, you would need a focal length of 8.6mm. Magnifying glasses only work if the object is closer than one focal length. This would make the magnifying glass completely impractical, and is quite obviously not true. Summary: it's not possible to have a single lens that can magnify at 30x and be of any practical use.

Answer:	The one I received was 5x. Different suppliers/batches?

Answer:	There is nothing on the magnifying glass/lens that says its country of origin. The only thing printed on it is "100mm". So, I don't know for sure.
Question:	How large is the lens
Answer:	The lens is 100mm. It's printed on the handle by the lens and it really is. (That's essentially 4 inches (3.937008 inches according to an online calculator.)
Question:	Is this product 3x or 5x magnification? I’ve tried to order this twice and received a 3x magnifying glass but the description states it should be 5x

Question:	Is it a common issue for the glasses to fall out of the keychain case
Answer:	Yes, I have lost a pair due to them falling out. I lost them 3 times and found them before finally losing them for good somewhere. I bought them directly from ThinOptics and while I love the concept, I do NOT love the keychain case which was the main reason I bought them, so my glasses would always be super handy and close by when needed...
