| Answer: | If you talking about the flat pieces( not the corners) it depends on the object you are packing. These flat pieces fit over each other. If you have a picture in a frame, one piece covers one 1/2, and a 2nd piece overlaps it, and you tape them in the middle. If it is a large picture, it might need 4 pieces, 2 on each side- top, and bottom; tape in the middle-across the middle, and down the center, so that it looks like interlocking puzzle pieces. I ordered (from Amazon) the one piece picture box size 52 x 8 x 60 which was a larger than I expected but perfect for that painting and with room for additional smaller size paintings.
