Answer:	There is a strong cord which runs through the hollow metal of the cane staff, which is actually in four separate sections which fit together, one inside the top of the other. Answer:	I have had several rolling walkers including this walker & upwalker they are quite different. When you use this walker your arms are straight for upright support. The upwalker you rest forearms in supports and have hand grips. The upwalker has lower handles at the level of most rollaters. There are several features in the upwalker not in the other rollators but it is considerably more expensive. Depending on what you need the walker to support. I have multiple back injuries and could not stand and carry my weight with this or other rollators I would be hunched over leaning on my forearms. I use this rollator in the house and use my upwalker when I am out I can stand up and look around. Hope this information helps.

Question:	Is the tip mounted flexibly? I mean, could it be used on a 20 degree slope, where the cane is straight up but the base is on the slope at 20 degrees
Answer:	No the tip is not flexible. In a slope, I would make much smaller steps and keep the cane closer to the body than usual. If the tip was flexible, I don't think it would be as stabilizing.
Question:	Are you able to walk on grass or gravel with the Hugo Mobility Quadpod Cane
Answer:	have had this cane for 10 years just ordered my 2nd (Grip wore out) not only is it good in gravel grass, sand but also does well in Snow!

Answer:	The cane is centered in the base, no side is longer than any other.

Answer:	I just weighed my Hugo cane, the one with the compact quad foot that I recently purchased, and found that it weighed 21 1/2 ozs. That is twenty one and a half onces. This seems not very heavy to me. I am of normal build for an 80 year old female.My other regular cane, without quad foot, weighs 11 ozs., but I like the convenience of being able to stand my new cane almost anywhere, except, of course on uneven carpet.Another of my canes, with the spread out metal feet, weighs 38 onces. This seem a little heavy to me when compared to my regular cane, and it's a little awkard to use. I tend to trip over the extended feet when I have them facing inwards.

Answer:	Sorry to be so late with a response. I have no idea if there is a maximum weight the cane will hold. I really like my cane, ordered it because I had trouble finding a cane I liked that was short enough. I'm very short and weight is not an issue. It is very sturdy and strong and easy to carry or hang because it is not heavy.

Question:	I cannot lock in height for cane. Where is push button and locking ring
Answer:	The push button is the round silver "pop up" that appears in one of the circular hole markings that runs down one side of the cane. The locking ring is further down on the cane just above the circular hole markings. To adjust, turn the lock ring to loosen it, then depress the silver push button and either raise or lower the cane until it is in the best hole for you. Then tighten the cuff piece to further keep it in position.

Answer:	I would call it like a hard rubber like material. There was a plug in each end but I have lost both of them now. Mainly because iit falls over from where I set it down and they pop out. The handle has kept its shape except for those plugs which don’t seem to affect it’s use. My main complaint was a clinking noise as I walked with it. My husband tightened it up and that is better now. I have had it several months.
