The opening on the shape plug is very small, like pinpoint small. The shape plug may act as a wax guard. It is worth a try!

Question:	how do you get different mode setting
Answer:	I know description mentions this- instruction page that comes in box does not- not sure the 2 mode thing exists- you adjust the volume with a little screwdriver-ish thing and that's pretty much it

Question:	Do they produce feedback squeal
Answer:	Only when they are inserted, once they are in place no. I had them in eating a sub and you know that is a large bite, one started to loosen out of position and got a squeal which let me know it could fall out so I re adjusted all was fine. Answer:	My friend who uses these has most of his hearing loss in one ear so he only uses one in that ear. He keeps the other one charged and ready as a spare.

Question:	Why does it make a whistling sound sometimes when I move? I have made sure it is placed correctly in my ear and it still does it
Answer:	We have the same problem. i think it is because they are $80 hearing aids and not $1500. If you push the button to reduce background noise three times, it usually helps reduce the whistling. Also make sure the volume is not higher than 2-3. The louder the volume is set, the more it whistles. Good luck!
