Answer:	Realistically I don't think it would work very well. Apart from channelling the audio into your ear, the tips stop the sound from getting back into the microphone, which will cause the squeal of feedback.

Answer:	i bought this hear-aid about 3yrs ago and since stopped using it! i had the same problem with the batteries! also an issue with static! so i contacted the company and they asked me to send it in for repair- i got it back after a $60 FEE! they said they gave me two new batteries and the static was caused by moisture in the unit and suggested i get a de-humidifier! so i bought one on Amazon (very inexpensive) -- seemed to help--
