Answer:	It looks like the economy is just the strap and not the wide belt, the standard the one we have has the wide belt with handles to hang on to and the loops belt also has loops that go around the legs. Just click on each and you’ll clearly see how each is different.
Question:	How do you keep belt from sliding up without the leg straps
Answer:	A gait belt should be cinched snugly around the hips, not the waist. Placed at the waist, it will climb up under the ribs, resulting in the wearer being like a marionnette. This is not safe belt positioning as you do not have good control. You have far greater control when walking with, moving or transferring someone with the gait belt at the hips. If the wearer should lose their balance, you can easily place your leg between theirs, safely sliding them down your leg into a seated position rather than them taking you down with them.

Answer:	I don’t see why not, just make sure it’s not laundered with anything else and close the Velcro parts and plastics. On delicate cycle. But only if it was accidentally soiled with feces, not as a regular laundry item, otherwise wipe it down with a sponge and Lysol once in awhile.

Answer:	Never measured it. My Dad went from 200 to 130 and xl sweat pants to a medium in 4 months and we used it one time at his lowest and it seemed to fit him fine. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Dear Bates, Thanks for your question on the weight limits. We tested to keep somebody 100kgs lie down with the belt on the waist,then tried to lift up by 2 persons, which is ok to transfer in 1 or 2 mins. But we have to be carefully to checking if the buckle inserted well without quality before working, also Please attention to keep the buckle not closed body in vertical, or we are worried it loosed/took apart from male buckle VS female part. Usually it works as walking transfer Gait belts in durable/heavy duty quality. If need it work as lifting belts in often, recommend to choose some harness design with leg loops. Answer:	Actually I purchased this for my Daughter who suffered a Stroke earlier this year. My daughter is a Registered Nurse (RN) and my ex-wife, my daughters Mother, who is also a RN gave me the task of ordering items as they were needed. I know my Ex-Wife used it to handle my daughter around from bed to bathroom and to and from appointments at the Hospital. I know my Ex-Wife said it was very useful in controlling my daughter when she had to move from bed to where ever she needed to go. As the product is named "Belt" you might be placing a lot of pressure on your Grandmother's mid section in attempting to lift her after she falls. But you know, when a person places this on themselves, it gives them a sense of security that they will get back up once they have fallen and maybe not so apt to "Go Limp" as you described in your question. I think you should think this one through before you purchase this item. A upper body harness vest might be a better product, because then you wouldn't be placing so much stress on the mid section of your Grandmother's mid section.
