The tapered ends should be facing up to help the person slide onto the board. Try to keep the board as level as possible and be sure to lock any wheelchairs in place. Help the person onto the board then assist them as they slide across it in short movements. We highly recommend using the DMI Gait Belt in conjunction with this board to help assist moving the person. Be sure the person is dry to avoid any friction while transferring. Answer:	I don't think the number of slots matters. You can just choose to use a slot or not. If you only have 1 slot, you can position it on the side where you want to use it. I think the length of the board is more important. I actually use 2 different length boards for my mom. I use this one to transfer her from the wheelchair to the bed and another (shorter) one - with no slots - to transfer her from the bed to the wheelchair. I don't think the size of the person (smallish elderly lady) is as significant as the distance that you need to transfer. Hope that helps!

Question:	what is the difference between standardsand pro
Answer:	Length. The pro is longer. That said, I would not recommend this item. In fact, I tossed mine in the donate to Goodwill pile a long time ago. It's too thin and flexible. Yeah, I know, "too flexible" doesn't sound like a bad thing since it means you can roll it up and take it with you, but the absolute lack of rigidity means you have to have a perfectly flat and hard surface to use this on. Otherwise you feel every little bump. You won't be able to use this - at least, not smoothly - over even the thinnest of carpet, or even flat concrete. You'll need to have perfectly level tile or wood flooring. And, even if you do find something as smooth as glass, you'll also need something that can provide traction, bc this thing will slide and shift all over the place every single time you glide over it. Trust me, this thing is crap, and customer service is a joke. Don't make the mistake I made and waste your money on something you'll only end up being so frustrated and annoyed by that you give it to Goodwill just to get rid of it.

Answer:	Hello, Yes, the shelf folds up, however, it won't hold in that position with the mirror hung on the wall. It is designed to fold for moving/storage purposes went the mirror is not in use.

Answer:	I wouldn't suggest it but you could. It's over 8 pounds so you would need to add strong wire between the loops PLUS make sure you are putting the wire onto a hook thats fully anchored to the wall. It really was easy to secure this to 2 screws in the wall and is very stable, doesnt even move around when I clean it. I would say if its going to be in a high traffic area to hang it like the manufacturer designed.

Answer:	Yes go for it but there are others at a cheaper price. Definitely overpaid for this brand. If it matters to you...the top is plastic rather than a rubber type material. Thats my only major problem. If i have sweaty hands and go down on the bench for push ups or whatever, its super slippery.

Answer:	The boards were not designed to mount to a Suburban nor did we test this application on a Suburban so I could not guarantee a proper fit.
Question:	what is the diameter of the rail
Answer:	I am really unable to answer the question. The step I purchased was for a Ford F150. It was set for this configuration and the holes in the frame. That does not mean this step is not configurable for a Jeep. With the right adapter or mounting kit, it may work for a Jeep. I called the company before I purchased and they were very helpful.
