Answer:	Yes, but I wouldn't submerse it completely. Also, sand is abrasive and if you walk in the sand long enough I think it would eventually wear through. It's really designed to stand in the shower but you're not going to destroy it by taking a limited stroll in ankle deep water.

Answer:	I shower daily too. I bought this and used it about 2 weeks. Plastic is thick not cheap and the bag wS as described I have a 14” foot no problems. Just make sure the seal on top where it suctions your leg isn’t properly secured water will get in but I had no problems
