Take forehead temperature:Press the "SCAN" button to power on. Point the thermometer at the forehead. Press the "SCAN" button and release, the beep is heard, read the value.

Answer:	Hi Nell, there is no Velcro or snaps or any closures to help keep the cover up. It just folds and kind of "balances", holding itself against your tablet in the angle that you have it. But it rarely falls if you have it positioned right. It's really a great cover, very sturdy, I love it.

Question:	What is the typical forehead temperature
Answer:	The typical forehead temperature is between 97.5°F – 98.4°F . It is usually about 0.5°F below oral temperature.
Question:	My display shows “Lo”, is it low battery
Answer:	According to the user manual, the “Lo” means temperature is under the measuring range selected , not low battery. Low battery will be displayed with an empty battery icon. The “Lo” could be caused by measuring room or “air” temperature in “Body” mode. Room temperature of around 75°F is “Lo” as compared to human forehead temperature of between 97.5F°F - 98.4°F .
Question:	Can it be used to measure temperature of limbs such as legs and feet
Answer:	Yes - set for "Body". I took readings off my legs, arms, hands and feet. Make sure to follow the instructions re: give the thermometer a few seconds to reset between readings.

Answer:	Yes but this thermometer is a waste of money. It’s completely inaccurate. I’m a paramedic on an ambulance I compared the temperature findings of this device with the ER thermometers on the same patients I used it on to the results of the ER’s device on those patients and this thermometer is completely false. Downright dangerous if you trust the results. Fevers that read as normal and normal readings read febrile.

The best we could figure is it got caught by a briar on the way. If one small briar put a hole in it, I don't know if it would hold up to any rocks or branches that may be in a river.

Ear temperatures accurately reflect core body temperature, since the ear drum shares a blood supply with the temperature control center in the brain: the hypothalamus.

Taking a Temperature

Ensure the ear is clear of earwax and debris and the tip of the thermometer is clean.

Choose one ear to use for readings and stick to it. There is a small temperature difference between both sides of the head and so choosing one ear will produce more precise readings.

Answer:	I have used these decals for years. You can easily snip at a branch. I put it on my iPhone, iPad and computer. With a clear case over the back, it's very pretty. Watercolor like.

Answer:	It is not UV vinyl so longevity is not forever. However, it can be applied to car. Just know over time it will fade and show wear and tear like any other regular decal.

Answer:	I don't know. It's hard to say how the design would conform to a curved surface. It LOOKS like it is meant to be applied to a flat surface only.
