Answer:	This IR thermometer has a very narrow range of temperatures it displays. IF I point it at my hair, the lowest temp I've seen is 93.6F. If the temp reading is much below that it just displays "Lo". Hence it probably has a range from 93F to 108F as a guess. Other IR measurement devices, and I have one from Etekcity that's black and yellow is good for temps from -58F to 716F degrees per the label on it. That one just measured by stover burner at 408F, plus my fridge was 40F and freezer was +3F. This one is much better for humans and the etekcity is better for no humans. I read 94F on Etekcity and 98.6F for this unit on my forehead. This is made for people.

1) The body temp reading is accurate ONLY WHEN "Body"mode is shown on LCD. When testing body temp, PLEASE switch the thermometer to "Body" mode, rather than "Article" mode.

2) Emissivity of forehead, oral and cochlear is different from each other. The temperature tested by the non-contact thermometer may be affected by the hair, sweat, different parts of the skin and many other factors. And the temperature of human body is different in the morning and evening, women's ovulation and non-ovulation. The range of body temperature from infants to the elderly also varies. The normal temperature range of human body is 96.8~99.32℉.

3)The distance between non-contact thermometer and the forehead will make the forehead temperature a little lower than the contact thermometer.

Quick Operations Guide

Take forehead temperature:Press the "SCAN" button to power on. Point the thermometer at the forehead. Press the "SCAN" button and release, the beep is heard, read the value.

Take ear temperature:Remove the probe cover, fit the probe snugly into the ear canal. Press the "SCAN" button. The beep is heard, read the value.

Take room/object temperature:Power off the thermometer, press the ‘Memory/Mute-unmute’ button for 3 seconds to enter room/object mode.

Keep the thermometer about 1-5cm(0.4-2inch) away from the object. Short press the "SCAN" button and release. The beep is heard, read the value.

Memory 35 readings recall: Turn on or power off the thermometer, then press the "Memory/Mute-unmute" button to go to the memory mode.

Press this button again to check the 35 sets of memories one by one. If no value, it will display "---M"

℉ / ℃ Switch: Open the battery cover, use the toggle switch to change the °C/°F

Switch between mute and un-mute: Turn on or power off the thermometer, keep pressing the "Memory/Mute-unmute" button for 2-3 seconds, switch from un-mute to mute.

Answer:	I'm not sure about that but keep in mind the strip on your cards usually doesn't react well with magnets so I would keep it away from it.

Answer:	Hi Nell, there is no Velcro or snaps or any closures to help keep the cover up. It just folds and kind of "balances", holding itself against your tablet in the angle that you have it. But it rarely falls if you have it positioned right. It's really a great cover, very sturdy, I love it.

Why did it stop beeping

Answer:

My iPad case has an elastic portion attached as a pencil holder, and my Apple Pencil fits fine while in this case. It doesn’t really make it that much bigger, not sure that you’ll run into a fit issue because of the silicone case. I will say that it doesn’t got in/come out as smoothly because of the texture of silicone (against the elastic fabric), but it fits fine and isn’t a big issue- just doesn’t “slip”/glide out.
