Answer:	If you are referring to the current price shown (S$368.xx) compared to NTF3000 (S$198.xx), that is largely due to the current inflicted pricing. When I bought it in late January 2020, it was in fact cheaper than NTF3000. Prior to COVID-19 pandemic, the price was just marginally higher than NTF3000. BNT400 (aka '3-in-1 No Touch' in USA) has additional feature which is calibrated for different age group. Furthermore, it's sensor is likely to be different than NTF3000 hence it is capable to detect food and bath water temperature rather accurately. From an industrial terminology, what that means is that the thermoscan is capable to switch between different 'Nominal Surface Emissivity' (human body NSE is different from food/water NSE which is 0.93). NTF3000 likelihood does not have the ability to switch between NSE, hence cheaper. Hope this helps.

I discovered it could be several factors: different insertion in the ear, earwax and the last time it happened to me my daughter had an ear infection in the ear with the higher reading. After her ear infection was cured the reading was just +- .2 different between the 2 ears.

Many products now do not openly state if the product is made in China. Why is this? Because they don't want you to know it comes from China, because it would prevent a sale!

Answer:	I found this on the iHealth site (it was listed for this thermometer):: *Some iHealth Thermometers may arrive without the iHealth logo. This is still an iHealth PT3 thermometer but we have removed the step for printing the logo to improve production speed due to the high demand during this crisis. All other components are the same. Answer:	This IR thermometer has a very narrow range of temperatures it displays. IF I point it at my hair, the lowest temp I've seen is 93.6F. If the temp reading is much below that it just displays "Lo". Hence it probably has a range from 93F to 108F as a guess. Other IR measurement devices, and I have one from Etekcity that's black and yellow is good for temps from -58F to 716F degrees per the label on it. That one just measured by stover burner at 408F, plus my fridge was 40F and freezer was +3F. This one is much better for humans and the etekcity is better for no humans. I read 94F on Etekcity and 98.6F for this unit on my forehead. This is made for people.
