Answer:	The first part of your question is yes, it records the current temperature. The answer to the second part is no, it only gives the current temperature of the location it is placed; i.e., bedroom, den, bathroom, outside etc. It also gives the humidity.

Answer:	Just got mine and the humidity reads 7-10% low. I did the salt water calibration test twice and it never got over 65%. The hygrometer is useless.

Answer:	No, it does not. I find it to be quite accurate, though! I would imagine that you could just remove the battery and re-insert it to recalibrate. But manually, no calibration feature. I have baseboard heat with no thermostat so this really helps me know room temperature and humidity. Good product!

Question:	The advertisement for this product says it is useful for guitar cases humidity monitoring. Has anyone used these in this application
Answer:	I have several different humidity devices in my room (that has multiple musical instruments - guitars and ukeleles). I also use an Oasis brand. I’ve had the Veanic 4 pack for about two months, and they compare well with the Oasis. The four pack all give the same reading, which is comparable to the Oasis brand. Because they’re smaller, they’re easier to fit in a case. So I’m satisfied with their performance. I have other cheaper brands of humidifiers but they don’t seem to be as accurate. I live in a low humidity area (outskirts of Los Angeles). Hope that helps with your decision.

Question:	Can i reset the comfort range? 79 degrees f is much too high to be comfortable imo
Answer:	Actually the temp does have a bearing on the comfort indicator as amorina states. It will need to be a minimum of 20 degrees and between 50 and 70% humidity to indicate as comfortable. I agree with you that this is a little high and perhaps 18 would be ok. Other sources state that 40% humidity is ideal so who knows!I think just go with what feels right. In answer to your question though unfortunately the comfort range can not be reset or altered.

Answer:	In China. I bought 3 of them, but don't find them useful. The setting for humid, dry, comfort is inaccurate for a relativity level reading in a home environment. At least in the Midwest region. They say 49% is dry when in fact it's too much for a home to carry, at least in the winter colder temps.

Answer:	This is probably too late to be of use to the original poster, but maybe it will help someone. I purchased mine in March of '17 and the unit just died on me this past weekend, I was still using the original battery. I changed the battery and the thermometer was still dead, but that's less than $10 for nearly 2 years of service on a single battery.

Answer:	I put mine in the freezer and it reads 0 degrees. your unit could be faulty or it is to cold to take a reading. LL means it is to cold to read the temp.

Answer:	Hi Rochelle, I don't use my thermostat on the outside of the refrigerator so I can't answer your question about how well the magnet works. My refrigerator doesn't have any metal on the inside but the device has a small hook that you can hang on a metal shelf or it also has a small easel stand that I use to just sit it upright on a shelf. I highly recommend this well priced good quality and easy to use thermometer.
Question:	How accurate is this thermometer, + or - how many degrees? It should be standard to list that information
Answer:	I bought 6 of these for our restaurant's coolers so we could be more proactive in keeping our food safe. Before I placed them in the coolers, I wanted to see how close they read to each other. I placed them on a shelf in my office and let them sit for 48 hours. There was a 6F difference between the high reading one and the low reading one and only two that were within a degree of each other. Well, decided to check them against a known standard, that being melting ice which is exactly 32F. Again, the wide spread in temperatures and not a ONE of them read 32F..... Not so good.. Tried the Wrenware site and my browser damn near locked up and sirens went off warning the site was a hazard to visit! They now sit on my desk waiting for me to dispose of them. A reminder....

Answer:	No, it's made to snap into a panel cutout. Also, I don't know really how much I'd rely on the numbers. I use it to gauge the temp in my office and mostly I compare the differences form day to day as opposed to knowing exactly what the temp is.

Question:	How do you clean it
Answer:	Run scalding hot water over the probe or wipe the probe with a soapy rag then rinse (probe).
Question:	Can I leave inside grill
Answer:	I wouldn't if the grill is on! There are thermometers for that application where the temp probe is placed in the meat while on the grill and the temperature is read remotely on your phone or a receiver. If you're talking about leaving the instrument in the grill when not in use I personally would not. Not that you couldn't.
Question:	Is it normal to have to calibrate as soon as it arrives? Out of box in boiling water it only read
Answer:	The boiling point of water is 212 F only at sea level. If you are at a higher altitude, the boiling point is lower.

Answer:	Was just about to purchase until I saw "quality is not prolem" and referencing American quality. Both statements are dead give away for being made in China. I may not be able to find a domestically made thermometer but I may be able to find one made in any other country in the world. No more China for me if I can help it.

Answer:	I don't remember the exact size of the box. But I do remember it was long. I wouldn't recommend u to carry on the flight. Due to the tubes and TSA would have u open the box up. But if u check in the box it would be ok.

Answer:	No, but should be fine. I use one in the freezer section and the refrigerator section. Even with the higher temperatures for a wine fridge you will be fine.
Question:	When/how does the min max recycle? Daily? On reset

Question:	I purchased 2 of these in february 2017. one still working but i think the other needs new battery. i can't get the old one out. any suggestions
Answer:	After you remove the 4 screws at the corners of the back, remove the back. The battery is then held in a circular socket, with a snap latch on one side. Turn the unit upside down and push the snap latch to the side. I used a letter opener to press the snap latch away and the battery fell out. Be careful not to damage the wire to the temperature probe (the 5/32-inch diameter metal pad near the foot/hook).
Question:	Does the thermometer record the time the thermometer registered the minimum or maximum temperature
Answer:	No it did not and shortly after purchase while in use, it stopped working. Perhaps the battery needs replacement, but honestly it looks like I need to unscrew the time screw to open and change battery and I haven't done that and I'm actually not sure if that's the issue.

Answer:	You have to leave it in the tank in order to get a proper temperature reading. Use the 2 suction cups to affix it to the side of your tank near the bottom or top back corner. That keeps it visible without obstructing the view.
