Please note though that when your blood perfusion level is low or when your hands are cold, the device may need more time to optimize and register an accurate reading. In this instance, we suggest that you warm your hands and fingers before taking the measurements. You can do this simply by rubbing your hands together. Remember your pulse oximeter is measuring your SpO2 and PR based on your blood flow. If the blood flow in your finger drops below a certain level, the pulse oximeter will not be able to function. Answer:	Yes I have and the heart rate is very close. I have several of these and COPD and this ones heart rate at least the one that I have is very good. On the cell phone app which is called Oximeter the oxygen sensor is way off like 5 points high which is critical and I was told that the cell phone oximeter was more designed for sports than for actual health problems! as an example a five point spread could cause major organ damage do to low oxygen!

It does not record or note highest/ lowest readings which I assume would be what you are looking for in a multi-hour overnight model. Please bear in mind that the finger pulse oximeter is not meant to be worn continuously for overnight monitoring. The device may fall off while you are sleeping. Answer:	I have Raynaud’s. I am 60 yr old female recovering from Covid19. You will need to warm your hands up. This is true if you were in the best hospital. Run them under warm water and dry them before getting a read. Also, this will not work with acrylic nails. You will have to either put your finger in upside down or you can use your toe. Raynauds will make your toes cold too, so heat them up a little bit. Wear socks for a bit and then use the device. I did this both ways and got identical results. It works perfect.

Getting a reading is simple:

1. The top number is the average heart rate.
2. The number below this is the blood oxygen saturation level.
