How to charge?

Answer:	I'm 5' 4" & hate bending over to use a cane. I normally use a regular metal cane, but got the folding one for travel. I started out with putting the silver adjust button all the way to the top of the top piece to shorten it(out of sight), but then put it back into the top hole as I used it. If you do that, then it should be fine for 5' 2", IMO. Mine stayed "stuck" like that, too. But the top hole ended up being the best for my height. Alternatively, it would not be hard to take the rubber tip off & with a metal saw, cut an inch or two off the bottom. Any hardware store or home center could probably do this for you if you don't have access to a metal saw. Many drug stores have this cane, so you could try it out. Amazon has the best selection of patterns & colors, tho!! I got a purple one & love it. Hope this helps. Any shorter than 5' 2" would have problems with this cane being too long, so would have to take some off the bottom end.

The permissible range is printed on the cuff and our cuffs are a universal size, fitting 8.7 inches - 15.7 inches (22-40 cm) arms. Measure your arm to make sure the cuff will fit you.

How to understand that the device detected an arrhythmia?

If you see three heart symbols on the screen, it indicates that the device has found an arrhythmia, which is a disruption in your heartbeat. This might mean that you need to relax, calm down, and not speak during the measurement. If the symbol appears several times in a single week, we recommend going to a doctor.

Why is there a Micro USB plug on the device?

Answer:	They can be due to narrower arteries at the wrist, that are also closer to the skin, than theu are in the upper arm. Best to take your wrist monitor to Dr office and take a reading to compare to theirs.

Answer:	So, do you take your monitor to Drs office to check? BP & heart rate vary as you know depending on activity. In Drs office, there's always white coat syndrome, so you may read a bit higher than at home. Wrist monitors, like mine as well, will give the Dr an estimate of your readings to make an educated decision regarding med changes if needed. I keep a log. Take my BP 3x daily w/ heart rate. Those reading caused my Dr to lower my BP meds. I've been doing great since! So don't worry about the fluctuations between your readings and the Drs. Also, check your batteries. May be getting low. Answer:	It does use 4 AA batteries however, I’m not sure if can use “rechargeable” batteries. You could email the seller and ask.

Most arm blood pressure monitor has a cuff up to 12.6", which we think it's not large enough. So we've upgraded ours to 16.5” which fits larger arms.

If you put a short 8 inch length of sewing thread in the lanyard loop and fold the thread so the thread ends meet, then you can easily get the thread through the hole and pull the thread until the lanyard Loop comes through. Remove the thread, then loop the lanyard.

Q: It's not accurate and jumps around on the reading. Is the pulse oximeter defective?

A: When taking a reading with the pulse oximeter, we usually suggest that you wait about 30 seconds for the readings to stabilize. Some people require a longer time for the pulse oximeter to optimize its sensitivity. Following that, please also ensure that you keep your hand still because any movement can cause the device to reset its' reading - hence the erratic readings that you see. Additionally, nail polish and false fingernails may also cause false readings. If possible, switch to an unpolished nail or consider another application site.

Q: How do I know the battery is low?

A: Please note that the flashing battery icon that appears each time you turn on the device indicates that the device is checking the power supply. It disappears after 2-3 blinks. If the battery icon remains on the LED display, then it is an indication of low battery level.

A: Yes. However, we highly recommend using our children pulse oximeter instead which is specifically made for children. The finger chamber of the Pulse Oximeter may be too big for children with small fingers. This can affect the accuracy of the reading.
