Answer:	I don't remember the distance. A good way for it to not be uncomfortable if you need to adjust volume while you have your headphones on. Yes the slide is very easy to use. I found it easier to just use the tip of my thumb when I needed to decrease volume if I was wearing them at the time, but that rarely happened. Answer:	The Homedics cartridge is about an inch long and barely 1/2" wide. The info on the package says it will treat 1 gallon of water forabout 40 fillings. Depending on the volume of water in your humidifier...it should work. It is a small gamble...I am using it in a non-Homedics humidifier...a dual tank Walgreen's. I place one cartridge in each tank...each of which is just slightly over 1/2 a gallon.It lasts 6 weeks of daily fillings.

Answer:	This can NOT be use with all homedic humidifiers I have one of the more popular ones and it will not fit in mine even though it says it will fit in ALL Oscillating Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifiers I see on this page it has a list of the ones it will fit..UHE-OW14, UHE-WM85, UHE-WM65, UHE-CM25, UHE-CM45, UHE-OC1..To this day I am still looking for the one to fit mine which even gets odder. On my unit it says it is a hum-cm50 but on home medics site it has the model as UHE-OC1. Which is on this list to fit but no way my disk is a little larger than a half dollar and about an inch deep about two inch round so I have no clue. I have tried to email them three times but it just bounces back to the same page. what ever the number is it is a great machine but good luck finding that Demineralization cartridge for this machine.

Question:	Does this scale have one of those digital memories, where it stores & remembers the most recent readings & then just automatically gives you that
Answer:	Yes it definitely does. I tested it. See my review for details, but basically I repeated weighings with 10 sec to 2 minute intervals at 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 and 0.61 lbs added to my original weighing. All except for the 0.61 and 0.75 lbs additions read the exact same weight - 171.8 lbs. It seemed to take about a 0.6 lb change in weight to get a different reading otherwise it just repeated the last measurement. What makes this particularly vexing is that the manual says absolutely nothing about this behaviour. I can only guess that they do this to hide the fact that the scale is not very repeatable.

Answer:	It is 11 3/4" x 11 3/4" x 3/4". I love it. The numbers light up so they are easy to see and they stay lit for a few seconds ofter you step off.

Answer:	My scale responds with fractions of a change. There have been times when it did not change, however I assumed that was my body & not the scale.
