I haven't found someone who weighs enough to test its limits so am unable to really help you if there's concern about possibly going above 400. Wish I could help. Great scale though if you don't have the upper limit of capacity to worry about. It provides lots of information. I love that I don't have to worry about writing down or remembering my last weight because the scale remembers then tells me if I'm up or down and by how much or if my weight is the same as my last weigh-in.

Answer:	HI. I've actually been meaning to pull out the user's guide to see what all the numbers mean. But so far, I've focused on my weight each day and the change from day-to-day. Yes, it gives you a current weight and let's you know if you went up, down or stayed the same from the last time you weighed. It also does tell you your current BMI. You can create a profile so the scale knows it's you weighing instead of someone else. I don't recall how many unique profiles can be created. Bottom line, I've liked this scale better than any other I've had. Hope this is helpful.

Press SET, using the Up and Down Arrows, select a Profile Number, Gender, enter your height, then your Age (Note: Be sure to press SET after each selection)After entering your Age, the scale will display "0.0". Answer:	Yes, it measures them. As for accuracy, it may be a bit off. However, if you're tracking changes to any of those parameters, then it is accurate. For example, it may have your muscle, fat, etc %age slightly higher or lower than complete accuracy - but it has it the same amount higher or lower every time you weight, making it accurate for measuring how those parameters may have increased or decreased over time. I think that's why most people buy this type of scale - to track changes.

Answer:	It shows current weight for about 10 seconds after use. Have not seen any indication of prior readings but then I have not really investigated that.

Answer:	Each number is about an inch tall and the back light makes them stand out so you can easily see them when standing.

Answer:	I'm not sure yet. I've had the scale almost 3 months and it's still going strong. Since it has an LED screen I imagine it would use up batteries a little faster than your average scale, but all other scales I've had have lasted years without the batteries dying. My kids love the light on the scale so they jump, play, and otherwise abuse it. Nothing has phased it so far. I'm still happy with it!
