Answer:	It has four little rubber feet so as long as they all touch it should work fine. I wanted a scale that would work on carpet and this one has no moving parts for about one inch off the floor so it does just fine on carpet. If the floor is especially rough as in, say, rustic tile, then I'd use a pad or flat board under it to make sure all the feet touch. The scale base is pretty ridgid but somewhere up around 250/300 pounds you might be able to get it to flex a little. Good choice for odd circumstances tho----

Answer:	no , but I think a walker would fit around it and that you could easily use it with a walker. (My husband used a walker in the past for stability, but not since we got this scale.)

Answer:	No. I purchased this scale, and returned it two days later. Regardless of how many times I tried to adjust it, the weight was different each and every time. Two attempt, one right after the other, with no adjustment, would result in a weight as much as eight pounds different that the previous. Completely useless as a scale, I'm sorry to say.

Answer:	You have to do it in two separate steps, because the pounds and kilos are listed separately.. For example, I weigh about 175 lbs. So first I move the large slider to the 150lb groove and then the small slider to 25lbs. In order to get my weight in kilos I move the large slider to the 60kg groove and then the small slider to 19kgs. Hope this helps.

It will be very close, the screw that calbrates it took me about a minute to get it perfect. Here is something you need to know about the seca 700. The metal bar that attaches from the pad you step on and goes to the upper portion must not be bent. If it is bent, bend it back until straight. If it not straight,it will rub on the inside and not give you accurate readings. There is no mention of this in the directions. I had to bend mine straight and now I love mine. I checked the accuracy using water and it was spot on. It is way more accurate than my digital one. Make sure it sits on something level. Not carpet. This will measure small changes in weight if you set it up right.
