Answer:	I solved this. I would pull the scale out, step on it, and get a first weight that was 3.5 lbs too high. Second weight was right. Turns out I wasn't letting it reset after moving it. Just set the scale on the floor. Tap it or briefly step on it. Let it flicker and then go to 0.0; then when you step on it you'll get the correct weight.

Question:	Can't get scale to turn on, have put in new batteries, pressed the button, and stood on it many times, nothing ever turns on, any other suggestions
Answer:	yes. Each person would need to get the app installed on their phone. When using, open the app and tap the "Measure" button (the center blue icon on the bottom) and it will link to the scale. Then just step on the scale.
Question:	What batteries does it take
Answer:	Those are two different issues. If it won't turn on, first check to be sure batteries are fresh and properly installed. Remove the battery cover plate on the back of the scale. It is the part with 4 rows of 7 plastic dots and remove it by pulling down on the rows of dots. Replace all 3 batteries at one time being sure the flat end of the battery is against the spring (-). I'm not aware of any reset on the scale but there is a small button above the silver product label on the back you can press to change from kg to lbs. Be sure the app is properly installed on your smartphone if you also want all the other body metrics. I love the scale so I hope this helps.
