Question:	Whats the difference between the HBF514B and the HBF514C
Answer:	Slight correction, the models are actually HBF514c and HBF516b. I have both and they are identical in every way they measure weight, BMI, body fat, muscle percentage, visceral fat and resting metabolism. Both great machines and would recommend either.
Question:	When I hold the handles to get full reading, weight is 1 lb higher than when I use just as a scale (no handles). Am I missing something
Answer:	HOW TO USE: - Do not take out handle- Press the power button and release- Do not touch the machine until it is calibrated- Hit the profile number you want (1-4)- Remove handle and hold appropriately- Step on scale- Wait until all measurements completeThe very very most I've seen as a difference is .2 pounds using this method - and I often see that without using the handle (simply because I am "inbetween" a .2 range, such as 180.7 will show 180.6 or 180.8).

Answer:	No. This model has no connection USB, Bluetooth or wifi in order to create a report physically.
Question:	How does this scale calculate resting metabolism and how accurate is it
Answer:	This scale runs a very very tiny electric current through your body in order to get its readings. The sensors that give you this current are on the top of the scale (under your feet when you step on the scale) and in the hand grips that come out of the front of the scale. When you are just weighing yourself you only have to step on the scale, it's not necessary to use the hand grips. However, any of the other readings require using (holding) the hand grips and stepping on the scale. The electrical current will go through fat, muscle, blood and bone differently. It can tell how much of your body is fat or muscle etc. by the water content of each. The reason it uses both sensors for most readings is that by measuring from two parts of your body it gets a more accurate reading. This a really simple explanation; google it and you'll get lots more. As for its accuracy, I have had many of these readings done at a gym in the past, with calipers and I find the scale to be pretty accurate. Although I have not measured head to head, scale to calipers. I am a nurse and I think the science behind this type of measuring devise is solid. To me the issue is whether the scale is easy to use and can consistently give accurate results. I think this scale does. I did all the measurements when I got the scale and twice a day for four days. It consistently gave me the same results with very little change every time. The biggest difference was my weight which would fluctuate but never more than six to eight ounces depending on how long it had been since I ate. As for resting metabolism, mine was 1347 calories (that is the number of calories I need just to exist). This is fairly accurate in that if I keep my calories down to 1200 or so for a week I lose about a pound. Because that is my resting metabolism (1347) with walking at work, housework etc. I need more calories, about 1700 with normal activities, no exercise. This comes, I think, from a formula. If this much of your body is fat or muscle then you can predict the resting metabolism. More muscle uses more calories, more fat less. Ok, two things: although the electrical current is tiny and absolutely won't hurt you, it could hurt someone with a pacemaker by interfering with the workings of the pacemaker (not good). Second, someone who has a large amount of metal in their body, like from total knee or total hip replacement would not get accurate readings. It would register this large thing with no water in it and I don't know whether it would read it as fat or muscle? If you have screws or pins, a little metal, I think it will still be accurate. I am very happy with my scale and as I work out, build muscle and lose fat I expect it to tell me how I'm doing.

If you’re asking how much storage this camera can hold, then as long as the micro SD card can fit in the camera then you’re good to go. Answer:	I solved this. I would pull the scale out, step on it, and get a first weight that was 3.5 lbs too high. Second weight was right. Turns out I wasn't letting it reset after moving it. Just set the scale on the floor. Tap it or briefly step on it. Let it flicker and then go to 0.0; then when you step on it you'll get the correct weight.

Answer:	The one I got was a large cuff and it fit my large arm. Word of advice. This one or these types are hard to use by yourself, the cuff is hard to attach to ones own arm and mine seemed to bunch up and bind during use. It would be my suggestion to put the money into an Omron automatic machine.

Answer:	I returned the unit, was not for me. Cuff was difficult to adjust and the pinch on the ears by the stethoscope hurt my ears.

Answer:	I believe it is actually the 13-17 size. The first one I ordered was too small so I returned that one and bought this one and it works much better. Worth a try I think. I believe the one I ordered first might have been another model number.

It’s normal for your blood pressure to vary every day—as much as 20mmHg up or down. It’s also common for it to be higher or lower at the doctor’s office. Be sure to discuss your results with your doctor.

“Any tips I should follow before taking my reading?”

Avoid eating, drinking alcohol or caffeinated beverages, smoking, exercising or bathing for 30 minutes prior to taking a measurement. It is best to rest quietly for 15 minutes before starting the measurement.

Get Ready

Answer:	Nope, that doesn't happen. Scale will reflect even small tenth of a point changes. (What I like about it is that it is extremely precise and does not alter reading if you get on and off within a few seconds. My old digital scale gave me 2-3 different readings within a minute of me getting on the scale or if I moved the scale to a different location in the room.) This is the best scale I ever owned.

Answer:	Systolic was 10 points high and diastolic was 13 points high. Obviously this Caused, all sorts of heartbreak and worry Until I calibrated it in the doctor's office. Reading the other reviews, it would appear that some units are high and some units are low compared to the highly accurate devices used by doctors. This is all very disappointing.

Answer:	Worked perfectly with iOS 9.3.2 on iPhone 6+Tap Profile > Tap Settings > Tap Apps > Tap Allow All > Tap Apply Did a 3 reading run with app open, data transferred automatically. Open Health app > Tap Health Data > Tap Vitals > Tap Blood Pressure and data was there.
Question:	will the cuff fit a small arm
Answer:	WARNING! Omron forcing users to migrate to a new app called OMRON connect US/CAN by 1/14/2019, which is WAY worse than the old Omron Wellness app. If wanting to sync data or get reports, please do yourself a favor and read app reviews in Google Play Store or Apple App Store first. The new app also has some features only available per paid premium account which is $99 a year or $9-10 per month. The details on what is included are hard to find. You either have to contact Omron customer service or download the app. It's not on Omron's FAQ website.

Answer:	They are adjustable, but don't expect a lot out of the existing speakers. I replaced the existing speakers with a pair of Polk Audio speakers (same size) and bought a powered sub-woofer. System can now rattle the walls! Probably could have done without the sub-woofer but got a really good deal on it. I really like the system because it is compact and the Bluetooth is great for streaming audio.

Answer:	I don't believe you'll be able to use this machine in a low ceiling residence. Though ultimately that'll depend on how tall you are and how low the ceiling is. I'm 6'2 and certainly cannot use it in a low ceiling room.
