Answer:	Its velcro closure. Iy has a metal clip to hold the manometer during use, but the cuff is so large it flaps over the manoneter awkwardly, i rarely used that. So bottom line, velcro no metal foldy thingy.

Answer:	It's to "zero" the pressure gauge. After some use and fabric stretching/tube stretching, the pressure measurement will drop or raise. It can be zeroed easily with that key (or any object that will turn it). You tube has great short tutorials on calibrating a sphyg. BTW- this is clinical quality stuff. I carry it in my emergency bag and use it often on family, friends, etc. It's actually the exact same manual cuff as several hospitals I've worked for. Grab it. You'll never see a better value.

Question:	How long is the cuff
Answer:	The entire length is 22inches but it's an adult large meant to fit a smaller 8 1/2 inch are or 16 1/2 inch arm. I've used it on larger arms without any problems, but you would have to get a bigger cuff for obese patients or those with very large upper arms. In those cases I've used this cuff on the patient's forearm listening at the radial artery instead of using a larger cuff. The results are still accurate move the cuff to the forearm in a patient with an overly-large upper arm. I'm quite happy with this cuff and would purchase another one. It fits the majority of my patients

Answer:	They can be due to narrower arteries at the wrist, that are also closer to the skin, than theu are in the upper arm. Best to take your wrist monitor to Dr office and take a reading to compare to theirs.
Question:	Manufacturer: why readings much lower than the dr. office? not even close! is there a setting to adjust this
Answer:	So, do you take your monitor to Drs office to check? BP & heart rate vary as you know depending on activity. In Drs office, there's always white coat syndrome, so you may read a bit higher than at home. Wrist monitors, like mine as well, will give the Dr an estimate of your readings to make an educated decision regarding med changes if needed. I keep a log. Take my BP 3x daily w/ heart rate. Those reading caused my Dr to lower my BP meds. I've been doing great since! So don't worry about the fluctuations between your readings and the Drs. Also, check your batteries. May be getting low. I change mine every 2 months or so, just to keep them fresh and readings as accurate as possible. I hope this helps!😀📉📈📓

Will this be suitable for my wrist?

The cuff length of our blood pressure monitors is universal and is 13.5-19.5cm (5.3-7.6 inch). Measure your wrist to make sure the cuff will be tightly fixed around your arm. The accuracy of blood pressure measurements depends on this.

Does the device show the heart rate?

Wrist monitor by Paramed is also convenient in that it can measure heart rate. This is very important when measuring blood pressure, and allows the user to better understand their health. The heart rate is shown in the bottom right corner, under the blood pressure measurement.

How to charge the wrist monitor?

The wrist monitor comes with batteries, and cannot be charged. When the charge is low, a low battery sign will appear on the screen and it will need new batteries for the device to work correctly.

Answer:	Sorry for late reply, I'm 6'2, 220 lbs and the large fit okay. The XL are a loose but the length pretty much fits me. Being 68 they may be a little too short. Also the material is very thick and sturdy, so if you become hot easily these may not be the item for you.
