Answer:	Hello This is completely automatic. You put it on your left arm and push a button and it pumps the cuff and displays your BP and pulse. Very easy and a nice unit.

Answer:	Hi, In order to get an accurate reading using the wrist monitor, the palm should be open facing you and that the monitor should be at heart level. Thanks.
Question:	what is it’s measurements
Answer:	yes, in sleep mode press SET for at least 3-5 seconds to enter "programming" mode, (the little person icon will be flashing) press SET again use toggle through the year, date time (24 hour clock) settings which are small numbers at the top right, use MEM to change the values and SET to confirm and advance. Next you'll see in large letters SP (turn to OFF) and PA (turn to OFF). I'm not sure what SP and PA are but by turning both off I was able to mute the Voice. (SP may be speaker, PA may be the spoken instructions at the start of taking your blood pressure).
Question:	Does this model come with a carrying case
Answer:	I am a Nurse Practitioner & I have very specific instructions for my patients to take their blood pressure. As there can be many variables that can effect every reading. First you want to make sure the batteries are good (new) in the monitor. Then wrap the monitor around your arm, sit still with both feet flat on the floor, no movement or talking for 2-5 minutes then take the blood pressure. I have them try to stake it at the same time of the day for comparison. Slight movements, talking, lying down, standing, agitation, being upset, etc. can all effect blood pressure readings. . Very rarely will you get the exact blood pressure reading in secession, but they should be within 10-15 mm Hg for both systolic(top #) & diastolic(bottom #). I also have my patients bring their blood pressure monitor with then to their appointments to compare readings so I can make sure it is calibrated correctly & inspect it for any defects. I also have them keep a log & bring it to all appointments & document circumstances that could effect any abnormal (high or low) readings, such as increased stress, sleep deprivation, high sodium meals, any pain, etc. Hope this helps.

Measuring and monitoring your blood pressure at home is important for managing and taking preventative measures for high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. Having a home monitor helps to ensure you're taking control of your blood pressure and is more comfortable, and involves less pressure than at the doctor's office - home is where you feel safe and offers a familiar setting. It also is helpful to see if your medication is working properly. In fact, not only is self-monitoring more comfortable and relaxing, but it also can help to decrease the number of visits to your doctor or clinic.

How To Properly Take Your Measurement

Fit the cuff around your bare left upper arm, do not place over clothing. The cuff should be placed so the lower edge is about 1 inch above the bend of the elbow. Remember, do not take your measurement as soon as you wake up. You can prepare for the day but don't eat breakfast, take medication, or exercise beforehand.

How To Properly Take Your Measurement

Ensuring the tube is in line with the center of your palm, close the cuff with the velcro fastening. The cuff should be fitted tight enough the allow 2 fingers to fit beneath. Insert the cuff tubing into the unit. Make sure it is inserted securely and there are no kinks.

You should perform the measurement sitting down - allow yourself 5 minutes of sitting down before beginning the measurement process. Always make sure that you are resting your arm and raising it to the level of your heart, whether at a table or at a desk. The cuff should be on level with your heart.

Question:	This is a pos. i have spent hours with nothing but e4 errors. tried everything possible. buy at your own risk
Answer:	I did not experience e4 errors, but did find this unit to be terribly inaccurate so purchased the table model with arm cuff and it is much more accurate. I have found that transferring readings to my iPhone from either unit isn't the most straightforward process, but they do always eventually get transferred.

Answer:	No electrical cord. I am an RN & this is the best BP cuff (when used correctly) that I have used in 40 years. It is accurate & easy. Know where your radial pulse is so you place it correctly & place arm (& hand) as directed. Once you do this correctly every BP taken will be easy & correct.
Question:	Can the app be used on an iPhone X
Answer:	I haven't had an X, but I have an iPhone 11 and the app works just fine. However, there doesn't seem to be anything that indicates it's actually downloading. In fact, the app just appears to be doing nothing, but after a couple of minutes I disconnect and the download is in the app. Weird, but it works.

Answer:	This wrist cuff is not accurate at all in any circumstances. I found it consistently read high compared to my omron arm cuff. I talked with my doctor and she informed me that wrist cuffs are not as accurate as arm cuffs. The wrist cuffs are convenient but it appears they give false readings. Mine constantly told me I was in hypertension crisis and to go to the er immediately. I then used my arm cuff and found my bp to be perfectly normal. I'd discuss with your doctor to find what works best for you.

Answer:	This is one of the best rated BP monitors. I did my research before purchasing and i will tell you this is the one to have It is factory calibrated and does not need self calibration as it has an average mode which takes 3 consecutive readings and provides the average. instead of buying a new one see if a friend has one and try theirs and compare readings. We have three different brands in our house and this one is the most consistent and accurate

Answer:	Yes, everything appears clearly on the screen and the APP is basically a way to store settings although the unit itself stores previous readings. You don't even have to adjust the cuff as you used to with the older ones - you simply stick your arm in there and it self adjusts.

Answer:	There is a co2crea brand case that sells for about $19.95. It fits perfectly. The other co2crea case for $10.99 does not fit the Omron BP7450 model

Answer:	I have a chart with the differences. Platinum has Morning Hypertension Indicator, Morning Average/Week, storage case, and an available optional cuff. Last, the 10 series has an ‘Easy-Wrap ComFit 9"-17"’ cuff, while the Platinum has a ‘Wide-Range D-Ring 9”-17”’ cuff. I picked the 10 because its cuff name has the word Easy in it, seriously :) I think its cuff probably has more of a pre-formed curve. I do like it.

Answer:	I’ll be the third to say my readings are always high. I should be going to the ER every time I use this. I used two different monitors yesterday. First one was 140/80. Withings was 206/117.

Answer:	There is an app for the android, Healthmate. You don't need your android to take the measure.

How to Measure your Blood Pressure?

1. Remove any clothing or jewelry from your left lower arm. Ensure that blood circulation in the arm is not restricted by tight clothing or similar items.

2 &3. Hold your hand up and place the cuff on the inside of your wrist with your palm facing upwards. Fasten the cuff with the hook-and-loop strip so that the upper edge of the device is positioned approx. 0.4” (1 cm) below the bottom of your hand. The cuff must be fitted snugly around your wrist, but must not constrict blood flow.

4. Relax your arm and the palm of your hand. Hold your wrist up to the level of your heart for the correct position to take your measurement.

5 & 6. Press the button and the blood pressure monitor will automatically take your measurement.

Understanding Your Results

According to JNC Guidelines/Definitions and the latest findings, the test results of adults can be classified and evaluated according to the above chart. Answer:	Royal Medical Solutions is based in Texas. So it almost looks like it is made in the USA. But in small fine print it is made in China.

Answer:	Seems stable. Linked by bungee cord when folded??? Trecking poles seem more stable. Has pop out pi for height adjustmene- must sure it is aligned an in hole.

Answer:	Yes. I bought one of the tips with feet, so it can stand upright. It fits perfectly. I put it on after unfolding the cane because it takes up more room with the footed tip on.
Question:	How accurate are the readings
Answer:	I'm 5' 4" & hate bending over to use a cane. I normally use a regular metal cane, but got the folding one for travel. I started out with putting the silver adjust button all the way to the top of the top piece to shorten it(out of sight), but then put it back into the top hole as I used it. If you do that, then it should be fine for 5' 2", IMO. Mine stayed "stuck" like that, too. But the top hole ended up being the best for my height. Alternatively, it would not be hard to take the rubber tip off & with a metal saw, cut an inch or two off the bottom. Any hardware store or home center could probably do this for you if you don't have access to a metal saw. Many drug stores have this cane, so you could try it out. Amazon has the best selection of patterns & colors, tho!! I got a purple one & love it. Hope this helps. Any shorter than 5' 2" would have problems with this cane being too long, so would have to take some off the bottom end.

Will the cuff fit my arm?

Selecting the correct cuff is extremely important. Cuff size is dependent upon the circumference of the arm (measured in the center of the bicep). The permissible range is printed on the cuff and our cuffs are a universal size, fitting 8.7 inches - 15.7 inches (22-40 cm) arms. Measure your arm to make sure the cuff will fit you.

How to understand that the device detected an arrhythmia?

If you see three heart symbols on the screen, it indicates that the device has found an arrhythmia, which is a disruption in your heartbeat. This might mean that you need to relax, calm down, and not speak during the measurement. If the symbol appears several times in a single week, we recommend going to a doctor.

Why is there a Micro USB plug on the device?

Question:	If i'd like to export the results, what kind of format does it use? if i'd like to send the results to my gp, is it possible somehow
Answer:	Exports in many formats, but excel-style "cells", and ".csv" files, have a major bug: meter reading values are combined with text! This is a major show-stopper since no graphing or trend analysis is possible without individual editing of the output data. Looks like app and cloud software was developed by amateurs (it is very clunky).
Question:	Will this work with s health
Answer:	Yes, it works with S Health. Actually it works better with S Health, than the actual Omron Connect App. I always have transfer issues, connectivity issues and errors when trying to download my readings to the Omron App. With S Health, the app doesn't even need to be open for it to transfer. It hasn't failed to transfer this was yet.
Question:	Is this device stores multiple readings until transferred to a phone
Answer:	Beware, however! The ONLY way to access stored readings is from a Bluetooth connected phone, and you may well have problems with that connection. I have spent hours in the phone with tech support, and it still takes me much unpairing, repairing, and phone rebooting to transfer readings. Last call they promised an email with a RMA for my device, but never follows through. And, the app provides no reporting capability anymore unless you pay for a premium subscription. Buyer beware.
Question:	Is the device as accurate as traditional blood pressure machines
Answer:	I'm an RN and worked as a cardiac icy nurse for a long time. I find device to be very accurate. I have checked it against my old fashioned (and very accurate!!!) manual blood pressure cuff and stethoscope ... and it's accurate. I will cation you that if someone's blood pressure is very high or very low, most electronic BP cuffs won't read. They may say "error" or just appear to not be working. If that happens, do some simple trouble shooting, and if you still can't get a reading, go get it checked elsewhere! But, get it checked!

“Any tips I should follow before taking my reading?”

Avoid eating, drinking alcohol or caffeinated beverages, smoking, exercising or bathing for 30 minutes prior to taking a measurement. It is best to rest quietly for 15 minutes before starting the measurement.

“Why does my blood pressure fluctuate?”

It’s normal for your blood pressure to vary every day—as much as 20mmHg up or down. It’s also common for it to be higher or lower at the doctor’s office. Be sure to discuss your results with your doctor.

“When is the best time to take a reading?”
