Answer:	Hi, Thanks for your question. No mask provides 100% protection, the N95 is tested to filter 95% of particles 0.3 microns and larger. We make no claim to the effectiveness of this nylon fabric. Masks made for medical use must be approved by the FDA and have a certification to be sold as such. All other masks like ours do not have an FDA certification and therefore the efficiency of the mask in protecting from a virus are unknown. We have tested water droplets through the use of a common spray bottle with the mask positioned over top of a paper towel, this was to simulate a sneeze or cough which would generate water droplets with force. Our test showed that no visible water drops passed through the mask however more scientific testing would be needed to determine if any water droplets not visible to the eye passed through the fabric. If your main concern is protection from a virus, we would suggest only using a proven mask such as the N95 which has undergone scientific testing. Even 3 ply cotton masks can not guarantee that a virus particle will not pass through it and its likely that for most fabric masks the efficiency is fairly low for airborne virus particles but may help protect against droplet particles that are generated by a sneeze, cough, or someone speaking loudly to you. Again, we make no claim to the effectiveness of this mask, all customers should be aware that all masks that are not FDA tested and regulated are not allowed to make any claim including protecting from a virus. Question:	do the ear loops hurt when wearing them for a while
Answer:	Nylon won't absorb sweat but it can get wet and like any fabric, it will get harder to breathe through. The advantage of synthetics is since the moisture is not inside the fiber, they dry significantly faster which could help in situations where you are moving and have wind on the mask like running or cycling. I have personally worked out in the nylon mask and it was fine for my low to medium intensity bodybuilding style workouts, I have 20 years of lifting experience, i'm 6'0 230lbs. Weight isn't extremely heavy since im not powerlifting, but I have a moderate amount of weight and it keeps moving for 10-20 reps maybe 1 minute per set so its a bit of work and it produces sweat. I will tell you that my preference is a new polyester mask we are launching. Right now we only have the white color so we haven't launched the product, we are waiting to add more colors which has been a little bit of a problem with our fabric supplier but we are doing all we can to make progress. If you contact us, I would be happy to ship a set instead of the nylon but you should be aware that because the mask has more airflow, it filters less of the air than the nylon which has a slightly lower amount of airflow through the mask.
