Holding the binder in one hand against your stomach, with the other hand stretch and wrap the binder around your stomach, and fix the velcro to the binder itself at your desired compression. The other option is to lay your binder out on the floor, then position yourself lying on top of it where you want the binder to sit. Your weight will help keep the binder in position while with one hand you pull one side of the binder up and around your stomach, and with the other hand you can pull the velcro side up and over your stomach at the desired compression, the stick it to the binder itself. I hope this helps! Please not - we do recommend getting some assistance if possible to get as much compression as you like.

Answer:	Hello, thanks for your query! I think these customers haven’t referred to any of the instructions/information given for the product or watched the video provided. The binder comes with a backing piece of velcro for protection reasons during shipping etc, you simply peel this off then wrap the binder around you and stick the velcro to any part of the ‘binder material itself’ at your desired compression! These customers have mistakenly thought they had to sew that backing piece onto the binder for the velcro to stick - but I want to make it very clear that is not the case and you can 100% use the binder ‘as is’!! Answer:	My waist is 35/36 and I ordered a large. It fits perfectly. I would think you could use this with a 37/38 waist but any larger I would order the next larger size.

Question:	Can the belt be machine washed
Answer:	Probably by hand. The electronic module snaps out. So no issue there. But you want to protect always the four little rubberish cups that deliver current to your back. Mine needs to be washed soon. I'll do it in a sink. Warm, soapy water, then rinse. Should be like new. I've been wiping down now and then with a small cotton cloth with rubbing alcohol because I'm lazy. But it eventually needs washed. One of the best purchases I ever made. Still going strong after all this time and batteries seem to last way longer than they should. At least 4x longer, seriously.
Question:	Is the beeping able to be muted? It scares our 9 year old dog - high pitch. Only the 2nd thing in her life that scared her. Tail tucked, shaking

The Beurer EM38 TENS belt can be strapped around your waist to directly treat areas of back pain; you'll find that it is comfortable to wear and there is no messing with individual skin electrodes.

What is TENS?

TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) treats the area directly by working in harmony with your body to alleviate both acute and chronic pain. The low voltage electrical current travels through the electrodes and into the skin stimulating specific nerve pathways to produce a tingling or massaging sensation that reduces and suppresses pain signals from reaching the brain. It also helps your body produce highers levels of its own natural painkillers, endorphins.

4 Contact Electrodes

There are 4 large water contact electrodes made of conductive carbon material that are built into the back belt. Before each use, ensure that your skin is clean and free of creams or oils to ensure good contact from the electrodes on the skin. The electrodes need to be moistened with water before they are applied. The electrodes will last the lifespan of the belt.

Adjustable Intensity

The intensity of the treatment can be set between levels 0 and 20. If the electrodes have no body contact, the intensity is automatically set to 0. This prevents unwanted stimuli from occurring. Depending on the intensity level you select, you will first feel a tingling sensation that can rise to a muscle contraction.

Application

Before each application you should make sure that your skin is clean and free from creams or oils. Moisten the electrodes and your back with water. Make sure that the electrode surfaces are evenly moistened to avoid stress spots when applied to your skin.

The detachable control unit with LCD display shows clear symbols to give you precise information about battery status, intensity level, the selected program and time remaining in the currently selected program.

Adjustable Belt Sizing
