Answer:	Bought this to give to my mother... she wears it when she has something to do with long term standing... so can't answer the sitting part. But I can tell you that the ability to adjust the tightness ( or loosen it up) of the brace is a real plus. It also doesn't ride up. Logic would lend itself to say that this would be a good support for long term driving... good luck.

Answer:	I don’t have my tape measure with me. I’ll have to take a guess. I wear 38 pants. But you are supposed to measure around your belly as the belt has to go around your belly. The Medium size barely fits me, with about 4-5 inches of overlap. Barely enough for the velcro to get a good grip. I’m guessing the Medium size will fit up to 40 inches around.

Answer:	Yes, I have both disc compression at several levels (I’ve lost 4 inches in height) and scoliosis, and quit playing golf a year ago with all the pain. Answer:	Look at the photos. It's mostly a soft, pliable, velcro-type material with added support in the back area. It feels good and secure to wear. I'm not certain just what kind of work-out exercises you do. If you are lifting weights then consider getting a sturdy, rigid weight-lifter's belt. This brace comes around your waist and stomach so it probably would not be comfortable for sit-ups, crunches, etc. As for wearing "at work", if you sit at a desk all day, drive a forklift, work in a warehouse, it should be fine.
