| Answer: | You could use it to hold the eye patch in place, but your daughter wouldn't have any trouble pulling the whole thing off her head. The tape sticks to itself very well - wrap it around a gauze-padded arm and it'll hold so well you might have to cut it off with scissors. But it doesn't stick to anything else, not the gauze or the arm, I assume by design so that it isn't painful to remove. If you wrap this around your daughter's head, it'll basically be a wide elastic band, and it'll only hold the eye patch in place if she leaves it alone. That seems unlikely given her determination to remove the patch. I'm afraid I have no serious suggestion. The only thing I can imagine working is something like those plastic cones put on dogs' heads after surgery to keep them from messing with the stitches, and I don't think they make those for humans. :) |
