Answer:	Yes! I pin the Velcro tabs so they don't come loose in the laundry and stick to the other clothes. I also remove the metal bars and the round piece of rubber in the hand area. I've even sprayed areas that are badly soiled. They come out looking like new!

Answer:	Not neoprene or rubber. More of a strong flexible cloth.

Answer:	If you do dirty work, I put a large size disposable rubber glove over the futuro stabilizer to work on the roof. Then I put a regular cloth work glove over that to do yard work. It gave me support and didn't dirty the glove or my hand. The stabilizer works better than I thought it would.
Question:	how do I determine the size to order
Answer:	Interesting. The pictures provided the measurements when I purchased mine. I did a search for the same product, small/medium is 5.0" - 6.5" wrist circumference. I cannot find the same ad I viewed with the measurements for L/XL. When I decided to try this stabilizer, I tried on the glove at my local drug store. I chose the L/XL for the fit. The price was actually a bit lower as well at the drug store. Live and learn. The widest part of my palm is 3 1/2 ", just to give you a size guide. My wrist is approximately 7". Drug stores carry this usually in the sports bandages section. I'd seriously suggest you try it on there, and then if the price is better, buy it here. I do like mine. It's easy on and easy off. It helps with my osteoarthritis pain in my thumb.

Start by picking out any pieces you see stuck to the material. Then you can gently clean the loop side with something soft but firm, like a toothbrush. This will help make the loops stand up more if they have become flattened. You could add warm water and a mild detergent to the toothbrush head and scrub the hook side as well.

These steps should help with better adhesion. If not, the hook and loop material may be old or damaged, and may need to be replaced.

How long can I wear my support for?

The length of time is really personal preference.

A general recommendation would be that you wear a brace or support during activity and for an hour or two afterwards. If you feel better wearing it longer, that is fine as well.

Can I wear my support when I am sleeping?

Our supports are designed to be worn during the day only. They should not be worn overnight, therefore you should remove it prior to going to bed. The exceptions to this are the FUTURO Night Wrist Sleep Support and the FUTURO Night Plantar Fasciitis Sleep support. Answer:	Don’t know about freezing. I launder mine in a mesh bag on a gentle cycle in cold water, hand to dry and it’s fine. I think it might stiffen up if frozen. The fridge would b e fine just don’t know how long it would stay cold.

Step 1

Insert thumb into loop with smooth side of material against skin. Wrap support under bottom of wrist.

For Left Hand Use: Wrap support over top of wrist.

Step 2

Bring support under the wrist and back around the top of wrist. Secure hook fastener.

Step 3

Adjust support until it fits firmly, yet comfortably.
