If you leave a jar open to long and your buds start drying out, cover the lid and these will bring back the humidity to 62%, conversely, if your product is somewhat moist, in addition to maybe leaving the jar open for a bit to help dry your stash and when you close up the jar again, these little guys will help bring the humidity back "down" to 62%.
