Answer:	Yes it is the swing support beam. Do yourself a favor and get a solid 4x6 beam so you don’t have to mount the 2x6s to each other. I think 16’ would work for a 5th swing. One thing I found out with this kit is that it is ready to go for 4 swings. I initially thought it was only 3. You have to buy additional hardware for a fourth swing. The kit only comes with hardware to hold 3 swings from the cross beam.
