Answer:	Mark I purchased the shaving soap and not the shower gel. However, since I have a background in chemistry as part of my chemical engineering training, I tried to check into this. I do not see any reference to "free of sulfates" on the Pre de Province web site; this might be something added by the reseller. Normally, sulfates are not an issue. Some people are sensitive to sulfites that are used as a preservative in many products, including wines. Thus, products are sometimes labeled "free of sulfites", but the term "free of sulfates" would be unusual. Most people do not understand the chemical difference between sulfites and sulfates, so I suspect they meant sulfite free. Obviously the shower get does contain sulfates, but not sulfites. Sodium laureth sulfate, a shortened form of sodium lauryl ether sulfate, is a very common anionic detergent and surfactant that is found in many different liquid hand soaps, shampoos, shower gels, household cleaning products, and even toothpaste. It is an inexpensive cleansing agent and foaming agent. That is why it is so commonly used. Any detergent, including sodium laureth sulfate, can be an irritant to sensitive skin, especially the membranes of the eyes, nose and mouth. That is why babies cry when shampoo gets in their eyes. For most people, when used according to directions, sodium laureth sulfate does not pose a health issue. Answer:	I have no idea. I suggest Googling and going direct to the Pre de Provence website and asking their customer service via email or phone as they also sell soaps on their website. I've ordered from there as well as here. Especially if in a rose soap emergency on here. I honestly love their soaps, they make your skin soft and have natural fragrances and vegetable based soaps. A bar lasts for months .

Answer:	All of the pre de provence soap scents are mild, and do NOT linger for hours. The milk smells like milk with honey and the darn soap lasts forever. My daughter loves them because any scent that is too harsh sets her off into a storm of sneezing. I don't know how the moon dance smells because it is in the closet awaiting to be be mailed with other Christmas gifts, and the scents are so mild that you really can't smell them through the wrapping. I've purchased almost all of their scents and have never smelled myself (nor been told) that the smell was offensive.
