| Answer: | Get a rod less than 8mm -- I have a 6mm coming, not sure if that's too small; 8mm works but highlights the looseness of this machine's packing. Roll the paper around the rod, seal, put over the machine's spout and try to push it in that one more essential bit without wrecking your "tube" -- slide it dry to make sure it's at least a little bit on the spout. I magically started making better packed cigarettes this way day 2, no idea if I'll be putting rjr out of business day 3 or if this is the wall of my learning curve. Buying my first box of filter tubes now, just to see if they make a better cigarette, which will be shorter after ripping the filter off. Wish they made these machines in 100mm -- ripping the filter off those gives you the longest camel ever. |
