Answer:	The wax comes off very easily with almost no buffing.

Answer:	Yes. Step 3 is just wax. I ran through all 3 steps on my 2007 white car almost 2 years ago. Although white typically does not show the extreme results you would get from a dark or black painted car, the smoothness of the finish is still amazing from all 3 steps, and the shine and how clean the car always looks is amazing. I would do all 3 steps again to see the results I got (using the Mother's polishing ball made it easier on my hands).

Answer:	I spent about 5 seconds actually reading the description which states it is pre-calibrated. Probably took you 100 times longer than that typing your question that had the answer right there. On top of that, you should always calibrate any hygrometer you buy your self. I bought two of these and one of them was off by 2% and the other was off 3%. Since I took the time to calibrate it instead of trusting the "pre-calibration", I have 100% accurate hygrometers.

Answer:	Certainly. Remember that things like the sun, or other heat sources may affect the reading. I'd keep your instruments and this hygrometer out of direct sun.

Answer:	Yes. Although its for cigar humidors it will work for measuring indoor humidity. They are very accurate and can be calibrated with a Boveda 75% calibration kit or the salt test. To do salt test simply put table salt in something like a bottle cap and moisten the salt with a little water. It should not puddle just be moist like you were making a paste. The place that along with the hygrometer in a ziploc bag and wait 24 hours. It should read 75% RH. If not then simply depress the set button until it goes into calibration mode then enter the offset by depressing the min/max button until your desired offset is displayed then press set again. Example if its reading 74% you would want +1%.

Answer:	It depends on how humid the cigars are. It takes a bit of work, but if will get there. I keep about 40 in mine. Keep seasoning it and wetting the humidifier beads. I too keep a Boveda 72 in my humidor and it stays right at about 70 all the time.

Answer:	The humidifier or the humidor? The humidifier is the device with the beads in it. I hydrate that whenever the humidity gets low. ( I also use a Boveda pack). When you first get the humidor, you have to season it. Wipe the entire inside surface with a wet clothe. I do that about once a week. Probably twice a week when I first got it, maybe even three times a week. There are a lot of factors to consider with how often. I was putting in drier cigars at first, so I needed to season often. Just keep an eye on the humidity. Once the box is seasoned enough, you will notice it will sit at your ideal humidity and go up and down slowly, rather than the radical shift you will see before you season it. After a few weeks, I got mine to sit right at 69 without any effort.

Answer:	All humi’s need to be seasoned. This particularly one is terrible. Leaks air like crazy. If you already bought throw it out.

Answer:	It appears to be a well made humidor. The bottom does not appear to be thin at all.

Answer:	The provided humidor is insufficient. Never got the box to the correct humidity let alone maintained a level close. This was after seasoning the box. I suggest replacing with a larger one. One solution is to place a damp sponge in a shallow dish. This is what I used until I could get supplies.

Answer:	This is a very inferior product. Do not buy it.
Question:	Many people spoke of recalibrating this unit. How do you know if it needs recalibraing and if it does, how do you know what to set it at
Answer:	Recalibrating was essential for mine, it read 20%RH too high, compared to an Acurite digital model recently calibrated with the Boveda bag. You don't know what to set it at unless you have an accurate unit to compare it with, or better yet one of those bags sold with a packet of special chemicals inside that guarantees a certain humidity inside the bag. It proved not to be too complicated for me, as I already had a recently purchased calibration bag (Boveda, about $8 for 3 months use). The set screw was hidden under the magnet on the back. The needle jumped around a bit, but I was finally able to get it calibrated OK. I used the 32%RH Boveda bag (for humidor use you might want the higher RH bag). I have not used the salt method, but it seems to work for most folks.
Question:	Can this be installed on the outside of a humidor so it reads the humidity inside? I want to dremel out a hole in my humidor and install this
Answer:	You can the unit is not that thick so you may have to dremel or route out the hole intended to be 1/8" or so.

Question:	How do you get the battery in and out? I can't get it out
Answer:	On the back of the unit at the very top is where the battery comes out. The door is curved to match the shape of the unit, simply pull it straight up and out.

Answer:	You can try, but I believe it is best designed for an enclosed container or case, even for a musical instrument. Regardless, my experience with it has been nothing short of being outstanding.
Question:	Can this hygrometer be mounted in the hole where the old analog hygrometer was mounted
Answer:	This hygrometer mounts using a metal disk which sticks to the humidor and a magnetic disk on the back of the hygrometer. These disks are about 1 3/16" in diameter and sit on an equal sized platform about 1/8" deep. The main body of the instrument is about 2" in diameter. If the "hole" is more than 2 1/16" in diameter or square, you shouldn't have a problem. If it is less than 1 3/16" it won't fit. If it is in between, it will fit if the depth of the hole is less than 1/8". If it is more, you could use some kind of filler to reduce the hole depth.

Answer:	It depends on how you use it. If you mount it in the top lid of the humidor and the plastic ring acts as a seal. Of course you need to get a hole drill and carefully make a 1 3/4 inch (approx) opening in the humidor lid, smooth it out with sand paper and press the gauge into the hole. If you are just placing it in your humidor (sitting it on the cigars or open space in the humidor) take it off.

Question:	How well does this handle getting wet several times a day
Answer:	I wonder what you mean by "getting wet". I have left mine in for days at a time with no problem, and also turned in on and off several times in a day. I don't think it is water-proof, so it probably shouldn't get immersed or too soaked.
Question:	What is the min/max buttons for? When do you use them
Answer:	The min and max buttons just record whatever temperature/humidity you have on the screen when you press them so you can refer to them later. For example, if the temp is reading 85 degrees F and 65% relative humidity, then when you press the 'max' button, it will record those values, so when you turn it on at a later time, you can refer to those maximum and minimum values that were recorded.
Question:	I just bought a $3000.00 gibson acoustic and i need something accurate to keep an eye on relative humidity. i s this accurate
Answer:	I received mine today. Installed the battery and placed it next to my expensive certified Humidistat in my Guitar Room. Waited an hour and compared the two. The Inkbird read the exact same relative Humidity my expensive Monitor did. 47 %. I have six expensive Guitars including my stage guitar which is a Gibson Hummingbird. I am going to buy 6 more. One for each of my guitar cases. Hope that answers your question.

Answer:	Up to 300. I guess it is super enough to help with your cigar collection.
Question:	If I don't add water every 2 days, the humidity drops about 10%. Is this the way it should operate
Answer:	You can set the temperature you want through the touch panel. After setting, the display will flash and then display the temperature in the box. It will slowly adjust the temperature in the box to the temperature you want.

Answer:	I asked the seller the same question, and they told me that this cigar cabinet has only electronic cooling function, but the spanish cedar wood inside could help to adjust the inner humidity well.
