Simply put the humi-pack in the case with cigars and that will keep the cigars at the proper humidity that is specified on the humi-pack for longer term storage.

Answer:	The padded foam that lines the cigar case will provide full protection of cigars with the cellophane removed and for cigars kept in the cellophane. Some customers prefer to remove the cellophane so that their cigars can absorb more direct humidity and also mingle with other cigars over time allowing them to pick up some of the aroma and flavors of other cigars. Other customers prefer to leave the cellophane on as it does provide an extra layer of protection for cigars when handling and in transit. This comes down to preference and there is no right or wrong answer. If you are seeking ultimate protection then leaving the cellophane wrap on will add an extra layer of protection to the cigars while in the cigar case and more importantly provide extra protection outside of the case as you are handling.
