Answer:	I believe they are much stronger than 1.5 but they don't say. They are thicker than I needed for normal trash and yard waste. Really strong! I believe they are contractor strength. I will ask some guys I know

Determine the height of the trash bag you will need:



Take the height of your can, and add four inches for overhang plus half the width of the can (or diameter), this ensures there’s enough material to cover the bottom of your can.

Answer:	The bags I received were made from a 116 circumference tube. The tube was folded at the bottom like a typical grocery store carryout bag, and single 32 inch wide heat seal was used close the bottom. There is no true rectangle bottom.

Answer:	I'm familiar with 55 gallon drums, but not water barrels. The measurement of the top of the can I use these bags in, is 27" X 26". The bags fit with a little room to spare. Perhaps this will help you judge if they will fit the barrels.

Answer:	I do not know as I have a Broan compactor. I can tell you that since I never dispose food in my trash compactor, I stopped using the odor control discs.

Answer:	Broan made a model 1050 trash compactor. This disk will not work with that unit. This disk was made for used with the 15WH, 15BL, 15SS, or 15XESS model trash compactors.

Besides most people don't just put water in a trash bag, so chances are items you toss in the bag along with the liquid may cause micro-tears/cuts in the plastic which can cause a leak as well.
