Answer:	close to 2", plenty large enough for a regular curtain rod or even a wooden pole type rod

Answer:	They are not too heavy. Remind me of the weight of nice lined curtains. I used a round curtain rod, and that worked well. They hang nicely and don't seem to pull or weight the rod down or bend it in any way.

Answer:	It is indeed easy to use and works effectively. If you have trouble using it, you should take one for the team and remove yourself from the gene pool. It works great - for about 3 months. AND I HAD 2 of them, so one could be charging while the other was in use. Still, they failed miserably. The batteries have terrible “memory”. So they do not recharge fully after a month or so. After 3 months, the battery availability is down to about 20 lights. That is when mine also decided to fall apart. The outer casing would just slide off, and the inside assembly would just drop anywhere. It was full of surprises too. See my product review, which I will post soon. I have no doubt that it will be deleted, but it will be glorious while it stays posted,

Answer:	Yes, the flame does stay on after lighting. First I ordered two and for some time both worked very good, now one of them is not working very good (i havent look at it carfully to see what is the problem) and the other still works very good, I have had them for over a year. last week I did order 3 more from amazon, they are cheap, relatively small and lightweight, I like them.
