Question:	Does this lighter, (the one with the curved handke) have a child guard of some type,if so can a teen light it
Answer:	YES. While it operates by pulling the trigger it will not light until you also press down on the top button which takes some pressure to do. Sometimes, we have to use both hands to provide enough pressure on both trigger and top button to light it, however, a man of average strength should not have a problem though a child would have a problem alone.

Answer:	They are just referencing rifles. Double action. Single action. Double action - takes to moves to ignite lighter. First move - flip open the lighter (as opposed to it opening automatically) yourself. Second move - ignite the lighter pushing down ignition. two actions. Single action. Pushing the ignition releases the top/opener and ignites the lighter all in one action - one action. Hope this helps.

Answer:

The child-proof function makes the lighter very hard to use. It can be disabled this way: Take a flat-blade screwdriver, stick the blade into the gap in front of the button and pry the button up. Don't break the button off. Stop prying when you hear a click. After that, the child-proof function will be disabled. But be careful not to hurt yourself with the screwdriver when prying. It's the best to wear protective gloves. I disabled both of my lighters, and they are very easy to use now. Good luck to everybody.
