Answer:	These do not plug in. You simply unscrew the top, remove and discard the seal, and replace the top. The scent enters the air as the moisture in the filling evaporates.

Answer:	It’s just a freshener, but it does have alcohol (denatured) in it. You could use it as a cleaner, but it would be costly. It smells great though

Answer:	Mine has never been on its side. When I receive the jug/container with the full amount in it, I fill a plastic pouring bottle so that it's portable (too heavy for me otherwise), and portion the amount I need from that. The large container is placed in my utility closet until needed. Hope this explains it to you. So, to summarize, my container has never leaked, and probably wouldn't because it came packed and was on it's side presumably at some point in time during delivery.
