Question:	Can i disable the wi-fi and use it only as a router? in that mode, is there a speed/capacity difference between the two synology models
Answer:	You are always going to get the BEST speed with a wired connection. These Routers also normally have a built-in Switch. You want to make sure that part of is is a Gigabit switch. Generally these days, that's mostly all there is. In the past, you would have 10/100Megabit. Now it's 10,100,1000. 1000 is 1 Gigabit. You used to be able to buy just a Wired Router with No Wifi built in. Do they even make routers these days without Wifi built in? If you're not going to use Wifi, I'd get something a lot cheaper, that at least has 10/100/1000 ports Then turn off Wifi. Most of the fancy tech your paying for has to do with Wifi. I have my house wired with Cat6. Most of my hardware is plugged in. So for me, things that don't move around and have an ethernet port get plugged in. From Xbox to AppleTV. While other things like iPhone and iPad I use over Wifi. I don't know if you're worried abut the Wifi signal? It's really pretty WEAK!!! You get bombarded with other signals far stronger everywhere you go. If you get something like the PLUME MESH setup. These are small units that put out really low power. You just plug them into a power outlet. Depending n which ones you get, you plug them into your differnt rooms you want wifi in. It spreds Wifi around your house with a very low power signal using MESH network. The antenna's are internally on these small units. So instead of a larger unit with large antenna's sticking out trying to blast everywhere it can, Plume went the other way. Weaker signal, more units around your house. https://www.plume.com/ I haven't seen a router you couldn't turn off the Wifi. Except maybe these MESH systems. Wifi is the whole point. Even if you have a Cable Modem with a Wifi Router built-in, you can generally log in and disable that Wifi. People do that to use their own Wifi Router.
Question:	Can this router handle plex streaming over wifi on 4 tv's at the same time
Answer:	I use it on to stream Plex and Netflix on 5 separate devices at the same time, but have combined this router with Synology's MESH network devices. Works like a charm in a 3,000 sqf house on 2 separate floors.
Question:	Has anyone tried pairing the mr2200ac with an rt2600ac via ethernet to create a mesh network? if so, how well does it work
Answer:	Yes. I am using Ethernet for the backhaul from the MR2200AC to the RT2600. You need to set up the RT2600 first. Go to WiFi and click on add WiFi point. Make sure your MR is on and not connected with the Ethernet yet (do it later). The RT will find the MR and configure it as a mesh node. Once that is done you can then connect the Ethernet cable from the RT lan port to the MR wan port and the back haul will use the Ethernet vs the 5Ghz Wireless connection. Keep in mind when you enable the mesh node you no longer will have access to the MR routers admin page. It becomes controlled through the RT SRT panel.
Question:	Can you use a range extender with this device
Answer:	Pretty common knowledge that a cable can perform better for less but becomes useless if it's not an option. Cables in the halls aren't a good look and modifications at the end of a drill don't go well with many rentals. Could a set of two CPEs (directional antenna device) be used to bridge the gap instead of an ethernet cable? 5Ghz has shorter range but these devices are rated for very long range and could avoid interference on 2.GHz band if needed. Or 2.4GHz could be used for better obstruction penetration and longer wavelength to carry. . They are directional, so when well aimed might be well suited to link two APs in place of a cable, then hand that off to a standard onmi antenna device after the CPEs have done their part to span the gap. Might be able to do more than one if close enough to a straight line, and narrow range angle covers more at distance (shotgun effect). They are powered over ethernet and mine is made for outdoor use and reviewers state they have a very long range, even connecting seperate structures on a property. Thought it might be helpful here, as two can be had for around $100. Never used them this way though, just to grab hotspot at range.

Answer:	I’ve used them on baby blankets for a long time without issue. Mrs Meyers brand is ALL natural, anti need n-allergenic. I even use the dryer sheets, unused, in my undies draw and layered between towels and bedding in my linen closet.

Answer:	The sheets smell good, but once you dry your clothes there’s no difference. I wanted the lavender smell to be on my clothes, but it’s not. They are overpriced and don’t work well.

Answer:	I have contact allergies to several products but I'm not allergic to the scent of lavender so I tried these. They smell wonderful and I don't react to the scent but I definitely have contact dermatitis on sensitive areas of my skin. I'm re-washing all of my lingerie and hoping that medication will clear up the areas of rash. I don't know which ingredient is the offender.

Question:	Can I use these for baby clothes
Answer:	If you mean Bounce Free and Gentle Dryer sheets I would say yes. If you are planning on using dryer sheets for baby clothes I would use only the Bounce Free and Gentle. My family & I are very sensitive to perfumes and oter additives found in most dryer sheets. The Bounce Free and Gentle dryer sheets make our clothes smell great and get rid of static without causing any kind of allergic or skin sensitivity reaction. Now we exclusively use Tide Free & Clear and Bounce Free and Gentle and we have no sneezing or itching.
Question:	Do the fragrance free also repel insects
Answer:	Yes, to repels insects as long as you place them in the right spots where you may have a problem. I use these in the summer time and attach them to a free standing fan to freshen the air. I put 5 at a time on while the fan is on. Helps to get stuffiness and bland air to seem much clearer. Don't like them for the dryer; however. I like a little fragrance but nothing with febreeze. Don't care for the fragrance. Overall, I'm pleased with the unscented sheets for all the above mentioned. Hope this helps. In the winter, by the way, you can place these in front of your vents to help the air seem cleaner than just hot air blowing out of the vents. I do place them around the house in case of any insects and I don't have any problem. Better than using pesticide sprays. Much healthier.
Question:	Ok I'm a Batchler and you don't know a lot about the whole laundry thing do I need these and liquid fabric softener or can I use just these
Answer:	One or the other since BOTH would be redundant in purpose. I had problems with my front load washers dispenser clogging up due to wax like build up in liquid softners. The dryer sheets also give me a bit more accuracy in use. Some laundry you may want two even three sheets in the dryer and there are many things in life you want NO softener. Microfibers and things like real down and down/feather blends you do not want softener into so liquid is a total no no and yet sometimes a sheet or half a sheet will help soften say the nylon fabric of down jacket or comforter without causing damage or less damage to the down insulation itself. But nylon can have a lot of static especially in low humidity winter seasons so a wee bit of dryer sheet can help with that or take the edge off noisy nylon jackets rubbing together when walking too. Anyway there is a chance your dryer could get coated with softner from either method over time and need a good wash out with a cloth and soapy water. If you wash microfiber clothes that are used to clean windows or cars you do not want softner in or on them as it will leave streaks on windows for sure. To get rid of that I occasionally wash a batch of microfibers on sanitize which is VERY HOT water and cold rinse and then air dry not in dryer. WE have very hard well water so microfibers can be effected by that too and it's a kind of catch 22 as the saying goes up here or six of one and half a dozen of the other when it comes to keeping microfiber clothes, throw blankets, fluffy jackets soft and anti static but not too soft. Hope this helps you out on this subject or lets put it this way by NOW after 6 plus years you must be an EXPERT on this subject but someone new may read your Q/A and they find it helpful. Answer:	The smell is so bad, I'm about ready to cancel my subscription. I'll preface this with I understand people smell things differently, but I think the new scent smells like urine. In fact, I thought maybe a warehouse cat peed on the first box or something until the second box came in smelling the same way! Really awful! I've used these for years. Very disappointing.

Question:	Just received these and they have a funny smell. Should I wash them before using them in the dryer
Answer:	I make dryer balls myself and you do not need to wash them. They do need to be dry to work well in the dryer. You can (like suggested) use essential oil for fragrance. Wool that has been washed does not smell to good. Over time it will go away. If you notice any static, put a little white vinegar at the beginning of your wash cycle. I have used mine to 3 1/2 years and have no static in my clothes. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Most as I’m just learning (lil quick research) can say they are NZ wool BUT they may process n make the end products in China and who knows what chemicals or processing they’re using to clean the wool and what environment. I ALMOST went for the cheapest ones but like nutmilk bags, even “organic” ones are ordered from alibaba (they have Chinese connections), say products are organic but aren’t certified and will use pieces that aren’t organic and glued n synthetics...some ppl really care about the process, the planet and the chemicals and end products used. Things should be transparent but usually aren’t as most don’t know or knowingly scam ppl. Unfortunately China is pretty polluted and practices are questionable as well, not just to the environment but their own people as well and that’s why certifications help and it’s upto you if you still wanna go that route. But if u are trying to avoid chemicals and help the planet, it is a lil harder of trying to buy something you think is good (not you specifically but generally ppl), but then may not know or find out later that it’s not truly 100% what was expected like fully organic and environmentally friendly as much as possible. I have to keep searching myself apparently as well!! Good luck!
Question:	How many balls do you use for a load? And do you ever need to clean them
Answer:	I know its been years since this question was asked. But incase someone is still looking for the same answer. 5-6 balls are recommended per load with the dryer filled no more than 75%. No matter which brand you use , they all have the same information regarding how many balls to use and the dryer capacity. A little fun tidbit. If you’d like to add a nice smell to your clothes you can add essential oils to the dryer balls.
