Answer:	I’m not sure. I buy this for my Shaw flooring as it’s recommended by Shaw.

Answer:	I also have Shaw engineered wood floors. This product is used by spraying it either on a microfiber mop head, or directly on the floor. You don’t use large quantities so there is no risk of the slats rising. I’ve been using the product on my Shaw floors for over 2 years.

Answer:	There really isn't any "dirty water." You spray the floor in front of the mop with solution from the reservoir, and then you pass the SpinWave over that area. The pads absorb the liquid and, with it, the dirt, as you pass over it. Think of it more as a spinning Swiffer than as a mop-and-bucket cleaner.
Question:	My new home has hardwood & marble floors. I read that water is not good to use on these types of floors. Is this safe for these flooring materials

Question:	Two questions. 1. Does the cleaning solution have an odor (I have allergies)? 2. Can this be used to freshen an oriental area rug
Answer:	If you have allergies and an Oriental rug, I would get rid of the rug!! If it is an authentic hand knotted rug- then it's wool!! If you have allergies you MAY be allergic to the wool itself. ALso, I would have it professinally cleaned- not because YOU can;'t clean it, but wool rugs are incredibly heavy when wet and terribly difficult to properly dry completely. Unless you have a big backyard and live in the arid southwest, I would not attempt cleaning. I have a large wool rug from Afghanistan I tried cleaning myself (you have to use natural SOAPS AND NO ARTIFICIAL DETERGENTS!!) on wool- it weighed a ton when wet and took FOREVER to dry on a very hot wall in 114F degree summer heat. The wool just smells when it's wet, like a wet dog (wet sheep actually ;) so, next time it will be done by a pro who has the equipment, tools and dryer for them.

Answer:	I just read that the difference between the two: the 1785W is 3000 RPM's and the 1785A is 3500 RPM's.
Question:	Can you use your own solution
Answer:	I have a 20 yr old carpet cleaning Bissel and I use my own solution. Of course the manufacturer will only endorse their own cleaning products. They can't guarantee the results if you use something else. I use 3% hydrogen peroxide with hot water. Use a 1 to 5.5 ratio. (1 peroxide to 5.5 parts water) It cleans, disinfects, and is great for pet stains. Won't hurt your machine using this formula. Hint: Try a 1 to 1 ratio in a spray bottle for cleaning your shower, bathtub and tiles. It kills mildew on contact, nixes the scum on glass and brightens your tub.
Question:	Can this be used for dry vacuuming? And how does this clean grout between tile lines
Answer:	I have tried this for dry vac and tile grout. First off, it is really meant to suck up water. Yes, it will do large items on the floor but not fine dust and dirt from every day. It will suck it up with the water though. As for grout, if you have deep crevice grout, as in the grout is not flush with the top of the tile, you will still need to scrub the grout. I have both and then I also have uneven stone that has pores and crevices in the tile itself and it also doesn't do well on those but it does better than a regular mop EVER did.

Question:	I’ve tried everything to apply pads so machine is balanced. Any suggestions
Answer:	Sometimes one disc (part that velcro pad attaches to) comes unseated from the machine. You need a Phillips screwdriver. Remove cleaning pad, reseat the disc, then you can tighten the screw and reapply the pad. This might solve your off-balance problem. I've had to do this probably half a dozen times since owning the machine for three years.

Answer:	No. You are not supposed to use ANY water on engineered hardwood. We have Shaw floors. The warranty requires using Shaw floor cleaner or our warranty is void. Read your warranty before you use anything to clean your floors.

Answer:	My 32 oz. concentrate bottle has a measuring chamber that is marked off in 5, 10, and 15 ML. I use the 15 ML to a quart of water in a spray bottle. Spray a section of floor and wipe up with clean cloth as the instructions indicate. Use only on hardwood floors with polyurethane finish. I use it on vinyl, hardwood and ceramic tile and am very satisfied with the results.l

Answer:	In my opinion this product does nothing for vinyl planks. After I applied on the floor I swiped some water off the floor dirt was still on the floor. I used the shaw products and their mop. I would not purchase

Answer:	This didn't work for us either. It left a cloudy area where you spot clean. We use microfiber as well but I even tried paper towels and regular handcloths to dry and it still left marks. I won't purchase this again. The floor cleaners we use had the actually brand stuff and that stuff works great, this is a generic form I think.

Answer:	We have tested it on carpet spots of several sizes, types, and ages. For any stain that's same-day, it'll clean it out really well, way better than any spot cleaning solution will. For spots that are a few days old, it will do pretty well, but you may have a slight tinge left over and/or you may have to go over the spot a few times. For older stains, you'll probably be left with some staining even after a few go-overs, but it will look much better than it did before. It can even make a very noticeable difference on stains that are several years old.The caveats - it's a small cleaner, so cleaning anything larger than a fist-sized spot is going to take a pretty long time (15-30 mins+ for each go-over, depending on how deep the stain is), and it can end up cleaning a spot so well that it becomes cleaner than the surrounding area, which would required a larger floor steam cleaner to even everything out.But yes, if your carpet is at risk for small stains, and you're good with breaking this out same day, then absolutely this will take most spots out of carpets.

The brushes are all the same material (aside from the optional brass brush) but the color difference is for keeping them apart which gives you the option to use one color in one area. So you could for instance use only the red brush in your bathroom and the green brush in your kitchen.

Question:	I have terracotta tile outside with oil stains. will this remove the oil
Answer:	Good morning, since PS87 is a degreaser and dewaxer it will surely help the removal of oily greasy stains. In case the stains are stubborn I suggest you the specific remover for oily/greasy stains present in our range to be used on the stains. After the removal of the stains I suggest you to do an overall wash of the whole floor with FILAPS87. In this ways you will do a deep extraordinay cleaning of your floor. • To clean unpolished natural stone: Dilute 1:10 when used on matte, honed and natural finish stone.
• To clean polished natural stone: Dilute 1:20 when used on polished or highly honed natural stone.
