Answer:	Even though it says Carpet Stain Remover, I use it on all my washable laundry items for spot stains. I also carry a folex filled travel size hair spray bottle in my purse at all times for those pesky times I get food stains on my clothing. As with most stains the sooner you can remove the stain, the better. It is the best product I have ever found and also works well with cat stains. The best price is usually at Home Depot in the cleaning products section.

Answer:	I have utilized Folex for 6 yrs. or more and on any/everything. Various fabrics and materials; Carpets-furniture-pillows-mattress-drapes-clothing. I have not experienced any type of discoloration be it leaching, bleaching or otherwise. It leaves no physical or odor residue; needs no rincing nor clean up afteruse. I was most impressed with results when used on boxed/stored sweaters. Unknown at the time, Army contacted packers in Germany had enclosed some hand tools with the sweaters. Stored for year and before box was unpacked, an OK. tornado dropped our 2 story storage barn. When found, tools had rusted dark orange on 2 of my favorite pastel and bright colored stripes across white sweaters. Tried everything possible-no go. Several years later, a friend was using Folex sent to her on a carpet spot when her dog had thrown up. Answer:	My non-expert answer is that a spot is more surface and a stain is more soaked in. Folex will handle most of the small ones, 1" to 6". Others may take a stronger, more industrial application. But for quick clean up of spills and other small stains (especially recent ones) Folex works. I once went out of state and rented a room in someone's basement. The former renter was a student, and spilled drinks and food on the carpet. It took several applications and scrubbings on some spots/stains, but Folex took care of them all.

1. Blot up any excess mess until your blotting cloth does not transfer any more liquid.

2. Use the stream setting on the spray nozzle and thoroughly soak the stain to twice the size of the stained area, because the stain may have spread on the backing of your carpet.

Answer:	I've been using this with my carpet shampoo cleaner and its been a real life saver. I have a Hoover upright carpet cleaner, and I use 2 capsules of angry orange in the water tank. This stuff is extra concentrated, so I don't recommend using any more than that.

Answer:	I had a roommate that left behind 100 dog urine spots in a 225 sq foot room. The carpeting is 40 year old wool, otherwise in beautiful shape. The smell was horrendous once cold weather set in and windows were always closed. I purchased just about every urine removal product available and nothing worked. I hated the idea of having to rip out and throw away this beautiful wool carpeting. I searched the internet for solutions and found a formula for 32 oz hydrogen peroxide, 1/4-1/2 cu baking soda and 1 tbsp of dish soap. Unfortunately I don't have any wood surfaces, so can't tell you how the product would work on that. But I did pour the mixture mentioned into the carpet and enough to soak into the padding. The instructions said to let it dry, vacuum out baking soda powder. I had to shampoo the carpeting as it is a darker color and I could still see baking soda powder once dry. I've sniffed every inch of the carpet and it smells good now. Unfortunately the Angry Orange,though filling my home with an amazing aroma, did not remove the odor, even when a dilution was poured into the carpet and allowed to soak for days. If the spot you are trying to clean is out of the way, you might try the peroxide. For a wood floor, I would suggest covering the treated area with something to help the mixture penetrate the surface for a day or so. Sadly, both urine and possibly this mixture could permanently stain.

Label contains a warning for sulfite sensitive individuals; they may experience a severe allergic reaction if exposed to this product. Bottom Line: there is NO mention or recommendation to use this on clothing. It is for carpet use only.

Answer:	you do need to use more of the trigger spray vs. aerosol no matter what you are cleaning. This is one of the differences I have found. I let it soak longer before blotting it up also.

Answer:	My carpet is beige. I have used it for years. It is great. If your carpet is colored I would try it somewhere where it wouldn't show to be sure but I think it would be fine.

Answer:	Firstly, use a fine black light UV flashlight to find the carpets stain. I would recommend a great black light FLASHLIGHT Asin: B07BC8L581, it is a real 365nm black light with black filter lens, you are sure to see it.

Answer:	It has worked well for me. It reduces the smell pretty well. I typically wash first, then a second time with a cup of the solution. It also works well if you wet the garnet then apply the solution. I don't apply to dry fabric. It removes most of the smell but not all. Uruines ruins stretchy fabric like bathing suites. If that's your application, then it's already too late. You can fix the smell, but not the destruction. That's the urine doing the damage, not the Clorox.

HARDWOOD & LAMINATE

Our product is safe to use on most hardwood and laminate floors. Just be sure to test in a small inconspicuous area first and don't leave any standing liquid on the wood. Too much liquid in some wood types can lead to swelling.

LAUNDRY

Need to wash something with a gross stain? Pre-spray the soiled area and allow to soak for ten minutes before putting in the wash as usual. You can also use 1-2 cups of Stain & Odor Eliminator in a pre-soak cycle to help eliminate gross stains and smells. Then wash as usual.

DIRECTIONS FOR SURFACE STAINS

Pre-test for colorfastness on a hidden area. if color appears on cloth, discontinue use. Remove as much of the stain or pet urine as possible using a highly absorbent towel.

1. Apply a liberal amount of Rocco & Roxie Stain & Odor Eliminator to the affected area.

2. Let stand 30-60 minutes, then blot with a cloth and let air dry.

STEP 1: SOAK THE STAIN

Use enough product to thoroughly penetrate both the carpet and underlying pad (or upholstery and underlying cushion). The best practice is to try and soak the problem area with an amount Stain & Odor Eliminator equal to the urine. This allows the product to penetrate deep into the carpet and come in full contact with the urine.

STEP 2: LET IT SIT

One hour is the minimum recommended time for existing stains and/or severe odor problems. The longer the treated area can soak, the better. In some circumstances it might be beneficial to allow the affected area to soak overnight.

STEP 3: COVER WITH TOWEL AND WEIGHT

Fold a towel and place it over the treated area with a weighted object on top to wick the residual liquid out of the affected area.

STEP 4: VACUUM & INSPECT

Once dried, vacuum and inspect the treated area. Stain and odor should be gone. If not, repeat procedure. Older stains or persistent odor problems may require more than one treatment.

Answer:	Yes. I used it on a coil spring mattress with a slim memory foam top and just sprayed and left it on with a mattress cover over it (you could use towels as well) and just left it like that. Next time I checked the stains had disappeared. Worked perfectly.

Question:	Can the same solution be used in both the upright cleaner and the "Pet Stain Eliminator" hand held cleaner
Answer:	If you use this in an upright cleaner, you will waste a lot of money. This solution is diluted for smaller handheld/spot cleaners. If you use it in am upright, you'll be going through a lot of this solution. A proper upright liquid is meant to be mixed with water so you can clean a larger area. This is already mixed with water.
Question:	Can I use with little green machine
Answer:	Yes. Works well.
Question:	I have the spotbot pet model 33n8. do i add this formula from the water line or is it used full strength
Answer:	My SpotBot solution container has a water fill line and a cleaning solution fill line. If you fill the container full strength, you'll probably empty the bottle after only one or two cleanings. It's probably good to read the manual that comes with the machine. If you don't have one, check the Bissell website for a possible downloadable copy.
Question:	Can I use this in the BIssell spotclean proheat model? Does it need rinsing

Answer:	It will if you pretreat before trying to remove it. I find it difficult to get it suck up the liquid in thicker pile carpet.

Answer:	The instructions say you can use it vertically, but if the stain on the vertical surface is near a horizontal surface you will not be able to reach it.

Answer:	Not very well. It has a hard time extracting the liquid out of the carpet

Question:	Does this work on vomit stains
Answer:	We have Shaw Carpet. This is the only thing that is recommended to clean it other than dish washing liquid. However, if you use dish washing liquid it adds another step which is rinsing. If you don't rinse that out, it'll attract everything and make things worse. I've used this for a couple of years now for vomit. Our cat (for some insane reason) always has to vomit on the carpet. I've been lucky a few times to place him on the tile before he vomited, or a paper towel to catch it, but usually by morning time, there it is on the carpet....it's like he's been deprived of the experience and has now succeeded. ha! Anywho, this stuff really works on that nasty vomit which is usually a green/yellow color. Lightly scrape the 'chunks' off the top of the rug, then apply a good spraying of this stuff. Let that sit up to 15 minutes, if needed. Then grab an old t-shirt (cut up) and press on the areas to let the moisture wick up into it. You'll probably have to do this a few times, but the stain will get less and less apparent each time. How you'll know for sure it's gone is when you press the t shirt down, you see no more vomit color. Works like a charm every time!

Answer:	I've never used Stain Rx, but this stuff from Shaw is really great. It works on upholstery as well. We have cats who frequently gift us with hairballs. The Shaw cleaner is the only product we've used that gets the stains out effectively with no rinsing and no reappearance of the spot.
