Answer:	Even though it says Carpet Stain Remover, I use it on all my washable laundry items for spot stains. I also carry a folex filled travel size hair spray bottle in my purse at all times for those pesky times I get food stains on my clothing. As with most stains the sooner you can remove the stain, the better. It is the best product I have ever found and also works well with cat stains. The best price is usually at Home Depot in the cleaning products section.

2. Release a small amount of foam and scrub the stain with the built-in brush. Thoroughly soak the stain to twice the size of the stained area, because the stain may have spread on the backing of your carpet.

Answer:	I have utilized Folex for 6 yrs. or more and on any/everything. Various fabrics and materials; Carpets-furniture-pillows-mattress-drapes-clothing. I have not experienced any type of discoloration be it leaching, bleaching or otherwise. It leaves no physical or odor residue; needs no rincing nor clean up afteruse. I was most impressed with results when used on boxed/stored sweaters. Unknown at the time, Army contacted packers in Germany had enclosed some hand tools with the sweaters. Stored for year and before box was unpacked, an OK. tornado dropped our 2 story storage barn. When found, tools had rusted dark orange on 2 of my favorite pastel and bright colored stripes across white sweaters. Tried everything possible-no go. Several years later, a friend was using Folex sent to her on a carpet spot when her dog had thrown up. Using a slightly moist cloth to cleaned up the reminents she then sprayed spot with Folex; spot disappeared before my eyes. Humm. I borrowed to try on my sweaters. Answer:	My non-expert answer is that a spot is more surface and a stain is more soaked in. Folex will handle most of the small ones, 1" to 6". Others may take a stronger, more industrial application. But for quick clean up of spills and other small stains (especially recent ones) Folex works. I once went out of state and rented a room in someone's basement. The former renter was a student, and spilled drinks and food on the carpet. It took several applications and scrubbings on some spots/stains, but Folex took care of them all.

Answer:	It has worked well for me. It reduces the smell pretty well. I typically wash first, then a second time with a cup of the solution. It also works well if you wet the garnet then apply the solution. I don't apply to dry fabric. It removes most of the smell but not all. Uruines ruins stretchy fabric like bathing suites. If that's your application, then it's already too late. You can fix the smell, but not the destruction. That's the urine doing the damage, not the Clorox.

HARDWOOD & LAMINATE

LAUNDRY

Need to wash something with a gross stain? Pre-spray the soiled area and allow to soak for ten minutes before putting in the wash as usual. You can also use 1-2 cups of Stain & Odor Eliminator in a pre-soak cycle to help eliminate gross stains and smells. Then wash as usual.

DIRECTIONS FOR SURFACE STAINS

Pre-test for colorfastness on a hidden area. if color appears on cloth, discontinue use. Remove as much of the stain or pet urine as possible using a highly absorbent towel.

1. Apply a liberal amount of Rocco & Roxie Stain & Odor Eliminator to the affected area.

2. Let stand 30-60 minutes, then blot with a cloth and let air dry.

STEP 1: SOAK THE STAIN

Use enough product to thoroughly penetrate both the carpet and underlying pad (or upholstery and underlying cushion). The best practice is to try and soak the problem area with an amount Stain & Odor Eliminator equal to the urine. This allows the product to penetrate deep into the carpet and come in full contact with the urine.

STEP 2: LET IT SIT

One hour is the minimum recommended time for existing stains and/or severe odor problems. The longer the treated area can soak, the better. In some circumstances it might be beneficial to allow the affected area to soak overnight.

STEP 3: COVER WITH TOWEL AND WEIGHT

Fold a towel and place it over the treated area with a weighted object on top to wick the residual liquid out of the affected area.

STEP 4: VACUUM & INSPECT

Answer:	I’ve never used on walls. But it’s the best cleaner for pet carpet stains I’ve ever found.

Answer:	No. I haven’t.
Question:	Will it remove a carpet coffee w/cream stain
Answer:	With a few treatments, yes.

Answer:	I would try to vacuum first then try the Oxiclean with a brush. I have had good luck with this product on most stains with the exception of tar stains.

Question:	Does this work on vomit stains
Answer:	We have Shaw Carpet. This is the only thing that is recommended to clean it other than dish washing liquid. However, if you use dish washing liquid it adds another step which is rinsing. If you don't rinse that out, it'll attract everything and make things worse. I've used this for a couple of years now for vomit. Our cat (for some insane reason) always has to vomit on the carpet. I've been lucky a few times to place him on the tile before he vomited, or a paper towel to catch it, but usually by morning time, there it is on the carpet....it's like he's been deprived of the experience and has now succeeded. ha! Anywho, this stuff really works on that nasty vomit which is usually a green/yellow color. Lightly scrape the 'chunks' off the top of the rug, then apply a good spraying of this stuff. Let that sit up to 15 minutes, if needed. Then grab an old t-shirt (cut up) and press on the areas to let the moisture wick up into it. You'll probably have to do this a few times, but the stain will get less and less apparent each time. How you'll know for sure it's gone is when you press the t shirt down, you see no more vomit color. Works like a charm every time!

Answer:	I've never used Stain Rx, but this stuff from Shaw is really great. It works on upholstery as well. We have cats who frequently gift us with hairballs. The Shaw cleaner is the only product we've used that gets the stains out effectively with no rinsing and no reappearance of the spot.

Answer:	Yes!I just cleaned a baby rocking chair. It has corduroy cushions off white color. "Baby" is almost 11 yo now. The chair was in a hot attic for years. There were stains from everything from baby burped formula's to marks from Sharpy and Pens. Sharpy's stains left little bit blue residue after multiple applying the product. The fabric is not damaged and no discoloration. May be I just lucky?

Answer:	I have never tried it on micro fiber. I would try it on the underneath side of the sofa with a soft cloth to rub the stain. This is fantastic for carpet and I use a soft brush.
