Question:	Can you clean an entire (small) room with this (appx 10'x
Answer:	You could, but it would be quite a chore. This is a spot cleaner not intended for cleaning the carpet in an entire room. For that large of an area you would want an upright rug cleaner. Even a light duty upright would be better for such an area than this Hoover Spotless.
Question:	How does this compare to the spot bot
Answer:	Overall like the spot bot better, have both, use bot more often, just easier.
Question:	How does this do on pet stains
Answer:	It works great. I fill a sprayer with boiling hot water, use a carpet detergent to loosen the stain, and the spot scrubber to lift it from the item so stained. The sprayer is used just ahead of the spot scrubber vacuum tool and all of the gunk goes into the easily dumpable tank. I put distilled water in the wash tank and finish with that so no dissolved mineral residue remains (which sometimes makes a ring when the cleaned item drys). Works great and easy to clean (use a little of the boiling water followed with a distilled water flush).

Dimensions: 13.8 lbs Check for suction at the back of the unit after removing the hose where it attaches to the back of the unit. If there IS suction at the back of the machine with the hose removed, follow these steps: Unplug the unit from the outlet. Check the Pre- and Post-Motor filters for debris. Dirty filters can restrict airflow. The Pre-Motor Foam Filter is square. You can find it in a pull-out tray under the Dirt Tank. The Foam Filter may be hand washed in cold water with mild detergent. Reinstall the filter when it’s completely dry. The Multi-Layer Post-Motor Filter is rectangular. It can be found on the side of the machine. Note: The white Multi-Layer Post Motor Filter isn’t washable. Make sure the dirt tank is empty. Check the upper tank for build-up or clogs. If it needs to be cleaned, use a short, Phillips-head screwdriver and take off the separator plate with a cloth (can be dampened with water or mild detergent). Replace dirt tank. Check for good suction at the end of the upholstery hose. If there’s good suction, make sure the hose is connected firmly to the lower hose on the back of the vacuum. If there’s no suction, check the hose for splits, cracks, or clogs. Make sure the Brush Roll is rotating. If it isn’t, take the access plate off and examine the brush and belt for damage. The access panel can be taken off by lifting the four tabs on the bottom of your machine. Clearing clogs detach the Upper Hose from the machine. Insert a broomstick into the hose to push any obstruction through. Remove the screw from the left side of the lower hose on the back of the unit. Straighten this section of hose by pulling it down or laying the unit on its side with the lower hose towards the top side. Look through the hose for any obstruction. Use a broomstick to unclog the hose. Power source - corded. Power rating: 3 amps.

Answer:	The brush head detaches from the hose. I clean it by running extremely hot water through it. You could even soak it in a warm water bath if needed. If there is a hair stuck inside the plastic portion, you can use an unbent page clip to dig it out.

Answer:	I have a spot-bot as well as a Bissell upright (about to buy this little green one) - and I use a zip tie - the kind you can use for bundling wires - very long and flexible - as long as the fuzz inside the suction head is still wet, a zip tie works really well for me!!

Answer:	Sorry to tell you this - I've had my first machine for yr and it worked fine until it would no longer spray- since it was old I thought some part must have worn out - and since it had given me many yrs of great service - I just went out and bought another one - I have had this new one for just about a yr and now the same problem is happening to this one - I've given up and use a spray bottle to apply solution and the machine to pick up the residue - I'll have to be in touch with the company - but this does seem like it could be a chronic problem.

Answer:	If you use this in an upright cleaner, you will waste a lot of money. This solution is diluted for smaller handheld/spot cleaners. If you use it in am upright, you'll be going through a lot of this solution. A proper upright liquid is meant to be mixed with water so you can clean a larger area. This is already mixed with water.
Question:	Can I use with little green machine
Answer:	Yes. Works well.
Question:	I have the spotbot pet model 33n8. do i add this formula from the water line or is it used full strength
Answer:	My SpotBot solution container has a water fill line and a cleaning solution fill line. If you fill the container full strength, you'll probably empty the bottle after only one or two cleanings. It's probably good to read the manual that comes with the machine. If you don't have one, check the Bissell website for a possible downloadable copy.
Question:	Can I use this in the BIssell spotclean proheat model? Does it need rinsing

Answer:	Use the 2x pet and stain formula along with the oxygen boost formula. Not all set in stains go completely away.These two products combined have been the best solution for most of my set in stains. Hope this helps.
Question:	Would it help take out bleach stains
Answer:	Bleach doesn't stain, it removes the color. Your best bet would be to contact a professional carpet cleaner and explain what happened. The really good ones know how to dye as well. If it isn't too big of a stain they should be able to dye it back to the original color.

Question:	Is there a way to clean the brush head from gunk stuck in it
Answer:	Yes, try suctioning up a small amount of water from a bowl to clean the brush head and hose of any debris or dirt. Hope this helps!
Question:	The water containers seem hard to empty out fully - not well designed. Is anyone having problems with that
Answer:	Yes! I was absolutely having issues emptying the dirty water tank. You can remove the plastic tank from the machine. There was a video that showed how to remove a section of that tank in order to open it up fully. I can't post the link here, but I hope this description helps. Take the dirty water tank off the machine. Then take the purple handle and move it up and over the tank. It will stick at the top and will look like it cannot go further, however, keep pressing gently but firmly and the handle will "give" slightly to allow it to go well over the top fo the tank, in almost a 180 degree change from where it was before. Now you can scoop your fingers under the top section and lift it off. You can see where the plastic looks like it will separate. Once separated, you can set the tank in the sink and clean both sides freely. I was afraid to push it over the top since it naturally stops there, but it does go over.
Question:	Many people say there is a defect were the hose meets the handle And it breaks does anyone know if bissel corrected this problem? Or do they give you
Answer:	I'm in the process of replacing mine because of the described problem. The hose do get brittle after so many usage, the the part of the hose connecting to the suction handle breaks. Problem is this model does not have a hose replacement. Also, I check around how to replace the hose and it looks like, it will take some breaking the machine apart to get to end of the hose connecting to the machine. BUMMER!!!

Question:	Does this work on all stains like food stains other than pet stains
Answer:	Sure, it's of a size that makes it very handy to clean spots and spills from whatever, not just pet stains. I wore out one over a period of maybe 8 years and recently purchased a new one. There are shampoos specifically for pet stains and then other shampoos for other types of stains but I'm sure they each work for any use.
Question:	Need to replace the plastic container on the spot bot that holds the detergent. Where can I get that part
Answer:	I’m having same problem with my spotbot and I was wondering if you replaced the water container and did it fix the problem?
Question:	How long does cleaning cycle last
Answer:	There is a quick cycle for 3 minutes, and a deep clean for 6 minutes. This is a spot cleaner and works very well for spills, pet accidents, and small clean up jobs.
Question:	How long is the hose
Answer:	The hose is just long enough to wrap around the unit 1 1/2 times.... maybe 5 or 6 ft. The idea is to use it mainly in areas that are too tight for the spotbot. I highly recommend this unit.... I have previous versions that I have stopped using and now this machine is first choice. One note of caution: The hose will get brittle after years of detergent and dirt. Use the Main part of the spotbot as primary. This will lengthen the life of this unit.

Question:	What is the difference between the rug doctor portable and the bissell spotclean portable
Answer:	I'd like to parrot what Jennifer said. I have had two Bissell spot cleaners (Little Green Heat and SpotClean Pro). The brush attachment broke on one, and the hose split on the other in the first 14 months of ownership. Bissell has a 1-year warranty. I called them to see if they could make an exception for me, considering I was only 2 months past the 1-year. They said "nope" (the cost for replacing the entire hose mechanism is nearly as much as buying a whole new machine ... and you can't replace it yourself. Bissell says you have to go to one of their authorized repair centers). I'm very dissatisfied with Bissell's build quality. I'm frankly tired of buying machines that fail so soon. They are not meant to last. That being said, the suction on the Bissell SpotClean Pro is good. But the Rug Doctor is better. I vote for Rug Doctor.
